Description
Transient partial amnesia puts Detective Armand DiPino in a dangerous place. After surviving a shooting in the New York subway DiPino is in San Francisco for a funeral. He meets a journalist from South America who tells him that they had gone to a party together the previous winter, a Super Bowl party thrown by the subject of an investigation into human trafficking, sexual slavery, and murder. She remembers him but he’s at a loss. DiPino begins to tug at the strings of a conspiracy he’d already investigated, angering the very men who ordered him shot in the first place.
