An informative and visually enticing book like this is a great tool to use with upper elementary and middle school students when learning about the thirteen colonies. This title gives enough information to understand the connections and history between the colonies, while still encouraging further inquiry. By using a visual timeline throughout the book, even in the table of contents, this title both appeals to students and helps visual learners understand. A great addition to any library that serves children, and even adults!
