Harley/Marley is a girl who has had so many losses in her life. Her brother Paul was killed in Afghanistan leaving Marley all alone with her alcoholic mother and no chance for a better life. So Marley moves to Dallas to try and start a better life. The start of Marley's new adventure isn't pleasant though. She winds up sleeping in a homeless shelter and turning tricks. Marley hated that she had to resort to prostitution, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Marley goes to a more upscale bar in a hotel, hoping to find a John who will pay well, and maybe even give her a place to sleep for the night; just as she loses hope a man walks into the bar with a proposition that is too good to pass up. Milton Barnes is looking for a playmate for his employer. His boss is a Dom who likes to play daddy to little girls, and Marley might be just what he's looking for. She gets 5 grand and his boss gets a playmate for the night.
Marley can't believe her luck, the money will get her out of the shelter and set her up for a few months and give her a chance to find a real job, she quickly agrees! Thus begins the start of a wonderful new arrangement, Marley meets daddy James and feels a connection to him that is as sexy as it is intense! As Marley and James each go through the scene they realize that this is the most amazing connection they have ever experienced.
James is a workaholic, but now that he's made his millions he wants someone to share it with. He thinks Marley is just that special one. As James teaches Marley all his rules for his Little Girl, Marley finds herself doubting that she is good enough for him. Looks like daddy will have to teach her what happens to naughty girls who don't follow the rules and doubt daddy's love!
This was one of the best daddy/Dom books that I've read. The author knows exactly the right tone to take to keep it believable, and hot! If you are looking for something different, look no further! This is the book you have been waiting for! Sit back and enjoy, your Kindle will be smoking, and maybe you will be too!

I have to admit that until reading the synopsis for this book, I didn't really know anything about "Daddy Doms." I was definitely curious about this kink and I really loved James and Marley's story. Marley was a prostitute but she wasn't hardened by it yet. She still had hope. Then James came into her life and the minute she said "daddy" to him something awakened in her heart. With the money she earned from the one night with him she began to change her life. Then he came back wanting her in his life. Marley doesn't want his money. She wants him and she will change his life right back.

Normandie Alleman writes a superb story, and this one just happens to include the Daddy/little lifestyle. The lifestyle is detailed with respect and dignity an d I found the scenarios presented actually moved the story along. At first I chose the book for its Pretty Woman aspect; the hooker and the millionaire, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. The publisher includes a heads up on the blurb as to the content and it is accurate.
The pacing was even, the characters multi dimensional and interesting, the story well plotted, the settings beautifully detailed and the dialog was a great help in defining the characters. I believe I would read more from this author and this series.
