Description
Deceived...Betrayed...Trapped...
Dr. Cass Baros discovered the truth of her dreams when she opened the wormhole.
Though it cost her more than she imagined, it also gave her the love she’d been
searching for with the Brajj, Jeamon. Meanwhile, as Jeamon continues to fight
for his people's survival, he remains unaware of who she has become.
Their love will be tested by betrayal and deceit.
The mysteries of the Brajj revealed, Captain Lewis and his remaining soldiers
returned home with heavy hearts only to find more treachery.
Lewis’ strength will be tested.
And Ta‘mat--who wields the greatest power in the multiverse--needs their help.
Cass, Jeamon, Lewis, and Ta’mat are all trapped by circumstances beyond their
control, created by their choices. Each want more than they have. Each have
their part to play in the game of...
Ultimate Power or True Love?
Advance Praise
Richard of Smashed-Rat-on-Press: Sucked me in like a raging wormhole from the start—of course being familiar with the characters from the first book—I hit the ground running and I almost couldn't put it down to stir my soup or visit the gents' until I had finished. I basically gobbled it like a loon in two sittings.
Roz Carter author of The Covington Witches -This is a smart story for adults that respects your time. I loved it. You will too. If you like psychological thrills with your science fiction, pick this up. I have a new favorite author and she's an indie!
K.M. Montemayor author of The Circle Trilogy -Five Super Nova
stars for Nightmares of the Queen. This second book in the series is even
better than the first. The strands of the story pull tighter and tighter right
up to the shocking end.
Isis -The bulk of this book is about power and the different ways in
which people respond to it. Without giving away the story I can't really say
much more than that, however I will say that it is a compelling read.
Definitely worth the read, and I'd be mightily surprised if it doesn't leave
you anticipating the arrival of the final book in the trilogy.
Rose - I enjoyed this very much. I'm a sucker for sci-fi when it's
written believably and JP came through for me again. I'm loving the ending
although it's a bit of a cliffhanger and will drive me slightly over the edge
for a while.
MollyK -OMG I love, love love, this series! These books seriously just
puts a smile on my face. If you have any interest in Si-Fi, The Brajj series is
a must read.
Highly recommended if you are a fan of mash ups too since these books are also
part space opera, part military thriller, with some horror and romance thrown
in.
Shauni for Tea and Book Blog -Holey Freakin Moley! When I read
Jacqueline Patricks' Dreams of the Queen. l was floored but Nightmares takes it
to an entire new level. Consider me brought to my knees! All I can tell you is
once you open yourself to these worlds that Ms. Patricks has created you are
offering yourself a treat beyond measure. A serious MUST READ.
