OMG I LOVED THIS BOOK. A secret fey royal, festive setting, and hidden truths being revealed at each turn. It was an absolute page turner for me. Kit is a sweet character who acts all grumpy until he’s around Elsie. Elsie has a heart of gold and a no nonsense attitude when there is something standing between her and something she’s after. All the characters in this book felt really detailed and individual. I’m almost sad to have read it so quickly because now I have to wait until the next book is released. It was cozy and gave the butterflies in the stomach feeling that I just love in a book. This was a spectacular book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and cozy fantasy romance! Our main characters were charming & just so adorable together, and I loved the wintry vibe, which made everything feel as warm as a cup of delicious tea. I could see myself returning to this story every winter - it’s just so lovely!

That was ADORABLE. It's a perfect cozy read for the holiday season, with a soft romance and interesting (but not excessively complex) plot that kept me wanting to read. The worldbuilding and magic were interesting enough to keep me going but not excessively complex.
I read the whole thing in a couple of hours, and it feels like the kind of book that would be perfect to read while wearing a sweater and drinking hot cocoa or coffee and wrapped in a blanket.
This was adorable, and I'm absolutely going to be keeping an eye out for more great reads by this author - in this series specifically.
If you're looking for soft, cozy winter romantasy reads for winter/Christmas time, this is the PERFECT story.
