I was excited to read this novella since I had already listened to the podcasts of The Strange Chronicles. Which is super fun too if you haven’t already heard them! Go listen :) I was already connected to the characters, Gray and Joe so it was cool to read how they first met and interact. You can easily read this in one day as a short story and happy it ties up a case, so you’re not left anxious for the 2nd book. However I do look forward to the next adventures of The Strange Chronicles and finding out the rest of the mystery to her father and a special stone.

I have been eagerly waiting for this book to come out! I’m a super fan of this author and her debut novel Girl in the Zoo was such a great read. Love this genre and can’t wait for more from this author!
