Description
NILE: ECLIPSE ON THE NILE Book II
A gripping family saga set on a journey in a beautiful but volatile land (Eclipse Nile Series)
Does Love never let go – even when it can lead to murder?
Background
Sara, a successful businessperson in her mid-thirties, travels with her family on a holiday-of-a-lifetime to unstable, post-insurrection Egypt, with a plan to secretly meet with her ex-lover James - who has recently issued a subpoena challenging her husband, Andy’s, paternity of their seventeen-year-old son, Rick.
Book II
Avoiding arrest for Rick, and his internet contact, Mikayla, for their part in a photoshoot on the Pyramids, the family embark the Nile Voyager II on a jagged and jarred journey ascending the Nile. James also leaves the city to avoid danger and shadows their riverboat on his cruiser, the Lady Eclipse.
Sara’s renewed-love for James burns passionately, with the possibility of him being the father of Rick. However, they are not out of danger and when Sara secretly meets James on a trip to the Valley of the Kings, she finds herself part of a further attempt on James’ life.
Andy meanwhile closes in on the identity of James, and with Sara reserving her full commitment to James until the long-overdue results of the paternity tests confirm him as Rick’s father, a rivalry develops between Andy and James for Sara’s love and for Rick’s allegiance. With the menacing presence of James’s head of security, Akar, never far away, Sara struggles to diffuse a deadly game in an unfamiliar culture.
Then Andy goes missing without a trace. As Andy is presumed dead, has Sara misjudged in rekindling her first-love with James.
With numerous sub-plots and told from the alternative perspectives of Sara, Andy and Rick, Book II explores the anatomy of a family crisis in uncharted territory.
About RED SEA: ECLIPSE ON THE NILE Book II
This is the second book of the Eclipse Nile Series, with Books I & Book III in the series already available. It employs a modernist close writing style to bring readers 'into the moment' with characters. This is completely intuitive. and does not require any special literary knowledge, rather simply to be read.
Further notes to the ECLIPSE NILE SERIES are to be found at the rear of Book I.
