Advance Praise

Should leave fans of Mickey smiling from ear to ear.

Chicago Tribune

A thorough overview. Also makes a nice souvenir.

Boston Globe

The most colorful, visually stunning and deeply researched guidebook on the market. A warm, loving portrait of Disney World, for people who want to love Disney World.

Orlando Sentinel

Endless tips and trivia.

Knoxville News-Sentinel

There are dozens of guides to Disney World, but I like this one by a husband-and-wife team who visited Disney World more than 700 times. They're not affiliated with Disney, but received much inside access by the company to provide very detailed descriptions of each ride, show and attraction. Among the gems are fun facts, suggested itineraries and little things to look for.

Florida Times Union

Offers an in-depth history of the attractions and the parks themselves, and the most in-depth run-down of the two Disney water parks.

Budget Travel

I don't know how to say it except to point out that this is not anywhere close to "yet another WDW tour book." Yes, you'll find descriptions of everything. But you'll also find 300+ pages of details, trivia, and eye-popping photography that will leave you breathless to dial your travel agent and get yourself down to Orlando post-haste. Not for nothing has this book won award after award. In my view, it blows away the other WDW travel books. It's as much a decorative keepsake and coffee table book as it is your invaluable planning guide, and there should be no debate which is the right book to purchase if you're only going to get one.

A must read for any Disney World fan. Very well laid out, very easy to read, entertaining, colorful and more importantly very informative. The book covers everything you can imagine and is literally covered in pictures. This is the best-of-the-best hands down for anyone that is planning a Walt Disney World vacation.

This book offers new and useful advice on the Disney theme parks and Disney events. For instance, the book has a section on what's new this year, and practical tips on saving money and time. The colorful photos make this book inviting and the book is interesting and easy and inviting for adults to read.

I really like how The Complete Walt Disney World 2009 begins with a section of practical information on planning a trip to Walt Disney World. Then the book has pages color-coded by theme park. Each theme park section has an overview including a sample schedule for a day, an "at a glance" section with brief descriptions and ratings, and then more detailed information on the attractions. I especially like the little details such as average wait times, fun finds, fun facts and hidden Mickeys. My son and daughter were really drawn to the bright pictures in this book, and asked me to read about the different rides and attractions, so I think this guide book would help make even the planning for a trip to Disney World a fun family experience. After seeing this book, I can't imagine planning a visit to Walt Disney World without it!
