Description
After countless lives have been lost or changed forever by AI, what happens now?
Now that CJ and Manar are safely back from the Virtual Realm, life should begin to return to normal. But with a senior White House aide experiencing unexplained blackouts and our heroes struggling to put the past behind them, it seems their battles haven’t finished yet.
Has Helene, the power-mad AI hell-bent on controlling humanity, really been stopped forever? Or does her influence live on, out of sight and ready to strike when it is least expected?
As conspiracy theories swirl and the world believes they are in the grip of a mysterious pandemic, our band of warriors tries to find a way to move forward. Can they use Helene’s technology for good, or is trying to change what makes someone human going a step too far?
One thing is clear: The battle for humanity’s survival is far from over.

Ryan LeKodak does it again in the fourth entry in the Paper War series, it had that element that I enjoyed from the previous three books. The characters had that element that I was looking for and was hooked from the first page. It continued the story perfectly and was enjoying the characters in this story. It was written in a way that worked well overall and thought Ryan LeKodak wrote this perfectly.
Symbiosis is a high-stakes sci-fi thriller that keeps you guessing at every turn. CJ and Manar might have escaped the Virtual Realm, but the lingering threat of Helene and the mysterious blackouts suggest the battle for humanity is far from over. The story dives deep into questions about AI, humanity, and the cost of technological ambition, all while delivering edge-of-your-seat suspense. It had me hooked from start to finish.
Whoa, Symbiosis took me on a rollercoaster of tech chaos, conspiracy vibes, and "oh no, is the AI still out there?!" panic! CJ and Manar’s fight isn’t over, and honestly, neither was my anxiety while reading (in the best way). The twists kept hitting like a sci-fi sucker punch, and the whole "what makes us human" debate had me rethinking my entire Netflix queue. If you’re into thrilling, brainy, edge-of-your-seat reads, grab this ASAP. 🤖⚡📘
