Cocoa's Cranky Halloween is about a dog who is, obviously, cranky and a cat who tries to get them in the Halloween spirit. The book includes a lot of engagement points (turning the book, counting items, etc.) that are suitable for young kiddos. The illustrations are colorful and funny. This would be a great spooky season book for younger kids.
