Description
Born with the proverbial silver spoon in her mouth in war-torn London and an idyllic childhood in Ireland, Lee evolved into a person burning with curiosity to see what was on the other side of the hill. Her rather introverted nature begs the question, 'why let it all hang out' in the form of a book? Well, it was not the usual secure life following conventional rules and after losing what had become a family home on the island of Cyprus, in the Turkish invasion of 1974, she felt baseless.
Lee spread her wings with the same itch for adventure as her pioneer Father. She discovered unpredictability, nonetheless the learning curve was profound and led to a wealth of appreciation for the world, its people and the survival of the fittest.
With a love of sharing, even just a beautiful sunset with someone special, Lee is happy in the knowledge that she has had a blessed life and wants to inspire others, that our "world can be our oyster".... appreciate everything and be curious. Forever restless, and after 23 years in Arizona, it is time to move on again wealthy in spirit and a desire to share.

This book is one of the most timeless and inspirational books I've read in a long time. I've enjoyed the heartfelt writing and how descriptive Shattuck was. I felt as though I was right there in the Queen Anne styled house she grew up in. The adventure the author has been on throughout her life time is astounding. It certainly left me wanting more adventure of my own!
I do wish the author was easier to find on social media and by website as this story has been so enjoyable, I'd love to share the authors information with my own audience.
