Karma, Miss Perfect Pie.
You would think that since they loved each other, they would have made up by now and been married already.
The ending was perfect.
Very sweet romance. The characters were well written and the author packed the story with information but did so in a way that keeps you enthralled.
A really great story. Not really much conflict but a really great and fun read. All the characters are fun and I totally want to read more.
The story is about DR Jack, a widower with a teen age girl, who once dated our heroine, Maya, who is a divorcee with a teen too in high school. They loved each other and went their separate ways in college. Jack married a wonderful woman and was in love with her when she died. Maya made a mistake marrying the wrong guy.
The book is about their dating and falling in love but Jack resisting replacing his wife and saying I Love You. When he does say it, he does a beautiful job.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story. High school sweethearts are reunited after 20 Years. One divorced, one a widow and the chemistry still strong as ever. Wonderfully written, this is a heartwarming second chance story. This is my first book by this author but I will definitely be checking out her other books. I highly recommend this one.
Sing Me Back Home by Eve Gaddy was a quick, entertaining read full of love and second chances. The story focuses on Jack and Maya and their somewhat famous or maybe infamous history in Marietta, Montana - being former high school sweethearts that parted on no so sweet terms. They both have lived fruitful lives in the mean time. Both have been married, both have a child and both have each had their share of heartache and tragedy. Many emotional moments and many red-hot scenes between Jack and Maya that more than grabs the reader. The interactions between Jack and Maya were at many times hilarious that have the reader having more than the occasional laugh out loud moment.
A fun, delightful read that sizzles and shines from start to finish.

This is a really sweet second-chance romance. Jack and Maya dated in high school but broke up right after graduation when Maya moved away and started her career as a model. Jack went on to med school and got married. After Maya's ex-husband remarries, she moves back to her hometown with her daughter and runs into Jack who is now a widow. This is a very quick read with a sweet and romantic story. I really enjoyed it!
Sing Me Back Home is the first of five books in the Montana Born Books Homecoming Novella Series. The books are all standalone but characters from other Montana Born books make appears.
Sing Me Back Home is a wonderful second chance love story. It features two former high school sweethearts (Jack and Maya) and their adorable yet feisty fifteen-year-old teenage daughters (Gina and Carmen).
Twenty years ago, Maya left a heartbroken Jack and her hometown of Marietta, Montana to go to Dallas and be a fashion model. Now retired and running her own modeling company, Maya returns to Marietta with her daughter Carmen. Over the past twenty years, Jack has gotten over the broken heart he sustained at the hands of Maya. However, he is now a widower and single dad to fifteen-year-old Gina. He’s also a doctor in his small hometown of Marietta.
The two eventually go on a series of dates that make them both realize that the feelings they had for each other all those years ago still exist. But there are some bumps in the road to their happy ever after that they are going to have to deal with. It won’t be easy, but together they realize they can overcome their past.
Eve Gaddy has written a delightfully wonderful second chance love story that’s filled with humor, passion, love, forgiveness, and understanding. I’m new to the community of Marietta and the world of Montana Born Books but definitely want to stick around and meet everyone who is in town and comes back home.

LOVE LOVED this story. And what a twist on the common theme of the female 'not sure' about taking a leap into love! You normally find it is the heroine of the book with all the misgivings but this book has the heroine ALL IN with our hero ... not so sure he wants to jump into that pool again. As you can read, this is another little romance about second chances. And I do love those. And this story has children but they're more grown, which is also rare in these types of books. I was thoroughly captivated by the story because it felt like I had not read something like this before. And of course I HAD, but it's just so rare and far and few in between, that it felt like a one of a kind story.
I loved all the characters and their interactions with one another. It made it real for me. Very down to earth. I could relate easily to all conversations.
If you're looking for a short, feel good romance, this is the book for you.
Love is lovelier the second time around is the message of “Sing Me Back Home” by Eve Gaddy. High school sweethearts Jack Gallagher and Maya Parrish parted ways after high school with Jack going to medical school and Maya to pursue a modeling career.
Now older with both of them single parents to teen girls, Jack and Maya find themselves falling in love with each other all over again. But, though Maya is happily divorced, Jack is still in love with his wife who passed away 5 years ago.
Sing Me Back Home is a sweet read that makes us remember our first love and wonder what might have been. The book is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.
Sing Me Back Home is a quick, sweet read. I loved that this was a reunion story and cleverly tied in with the Homecoming events in Marietta. Jack and Maya have wonderful chemistry and lives that were believable. I can't wait to pick up another Eve Gaddy story.
The story follows Maya Parrish and Jack Gallagher former high school sweethearts, who after graduation went their separate ways to pursue their dreams.
Almost 20 years later, Maya is a divorcee with a 15 year old daughter and Jack is a widower with a daughter of the same age. When Maya moves back to Marietta, she does not want to run into Jack, the first time around, things ended less than amicably. Jack has almost heard from every single person that Maya is back in Marietta.
After a chance encounter these two find that the old spark is still there and that they are both about to get a second chance at love. With a few ups and downs, mainly Jack being a very clueless, hardheaded guy these two find their way to a happily ever after. I absolutely loved the proposal, I'll give you a hint, the title says a lot. Enjoy.
Rating 5 out of 5 Read@Book
Jack and Maya have a past. They were a couple in high school, loved each other, and knew they were soon to get engaged. But things change.... Maya had a job opportunity that she didn't want to pass up, and Jack going into medical school couldn't change what he was doing to follow Maya. Things ended on a not so happy note between the two. Fast forward years, both Jack and Maya have lived their own lives, married with children. Maya comes back to her hometown, where Jack still lives, and it's not long before they rekindle their romance.
Eve has a way with writing. I couldn't put my kindle down. I just wanted to know what was going to happen between Jack and Maya, and boy am I happy with the results.
Sing Me Back Home, is a sweet story of rekindling a romance. It was a fast paced read. I enjoyed it, and recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance story!
4 bold stars for me!
I absolutely loved the checmistry in this book. It was a very sweet novel.
