I am quite excited to buy this book once I am ready to experience this story and am able to. I really enjoyed the writing style, the story itself had me both immersed and curious, and the author is very talented. I know this is going to be a book I want on my shelf, and I want to make sure I read it when I am ready.

I do anticipate this in thrillers, but as a reader this book sucked me in initially, then had a slow build (which I really enjoyed) but there is a lot of mention of this trigger, which caused my brain to focus on that alone. (I did not see this trigger mentioned in the book summary, which I try to look for for hints that the book might have more if it than usual).

Content Warning: Alcohol (mentioned on many pages, via champagne and cocktails, a lot of consumption, both casual and consistent).
If this does not bother you, you need to read this one! This is a wonderful thriller.
