Description
Deepen your appreciation of Easter through meaningful contemplations about the power of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection. Forty morning and evening devotions will guide your approach to Holy Week, remembering God’s plan before time that culminates with a risen Savior!
Barney knows the journey from suffering to hope. His wife was diagnosed with cancer shortly after he began writing this book, and eight months later she went home to heaven. Barney walked that path of hardship with a hope-filled focus on the resurrection to follow.
Be encouraged to draw near to Jesus and celebrate The Perfect Savior’s message that the Son of God provides hope even in the midst of darkness.

An excellent read for any and all readers! Author comes at you with both barrels and knocks you out of your shoes! Great job fleshing out all the characters. I give this book FIVE stars! Definitely recommend!

I enjoyed Barney Cargile’s Advent devotional so much that I just had to read this one for Easter. And I was not disappointed. The author has a wonderfully easy style, that is open and honest, brief yet meaningful, while remaining consistently readable and applicable to our lives today. Embedded in scripture throughout and illustrated with memorable true stories, each morning and evening entry shows his heart for the Savior and his desire to share the love and sacrifice of Christ with his readers. I look forward to reading more by Mr. Cargile and sincerely hope he will keep writing. I would love devotionals on marriage or for Thanksgiving, but I will read anything he writes. Even if Easter is now behind you for the year, this is an encouraging hope and faith filled book to pick up any time for yourself or a gift. Don’t miss it!
