This author is amazing with the way she writes and keeps all the characters in this story straight. We have old characters and new ones in this book. Just when all is going good for the first time with the main characters, that is when everything turns in to a huge explosion in their lives. We get to see more of these characters grow more into themselves and not rely on others. This paranormal world keeps you on the edge of your seat and you will not be able to put it down until you are finish. At the end of this book, you think everything will workout but no, that is when we get a huge cliffhanger!!! Can't wait until the next book in this series is out!!! Loved every minute reading these fantastic stories, just need more. With each new book in this series, they get better and more entertaining. Wonder what will happen next?

I am going to start this by saying that I love this series. The first in the series, Arash, Shadow Hunt, was so good that I literally couldn’t stop reading it. These books are about a secret group of supernatural beings that live among humans. The group look like shadows to humans, unless they want humans to actually see them. They originate from the stars and live together in families. And as with so many other supernatural beings, they are immortal. The beings start out as human and are altered, but only after a process, which I won’t go into here.
What I liked about this book:
The characters. Since this is the 3rd in this series, I have gotten to know each of the characters pretty well. And for the most part I like them. Of course there’s always a villain,or in this case, a couple of villains, and while you don’t like them-well that’s the whole purpose of a good villain isn’t it? So they are in the good column for me too.
The premise. The beings in these books are just so different from most books I read. They look human, and enjoy human pursuits at times, but they live really different lives. But even in their world, jealousy and revenge still flourishes. This installment really highlights both of those things.
The continuation of the story: We get more answers in this book, specifically about Livia’s mother, which is good since the cliffhanger at the end of the second book concerned that. Livia is getting more and more of her powers also. There’s magic involved in this book as well.
What I didn’t like about this book:
The book was well written, with a great premise, good characters, and is a good third installment of this story. I honestly can’t think of anything that goes in this column.

Love, Love, LOVE!!! I couldn't put this book down, not one bit! I was delightfully held captive till the very end. Better than the last two books! The book picks up where the last one left off. Livia has now been an Arash for 6 months, and is enjoying her time with the "family". Everything seems peaceful and happy until Livia and the crew decides to look for her mom. Along the way trouble comes and rips the family apart. I love seeing Livia grow into a strong character and how she reacts to all the chaos around her. I can't say much more due to spoilers. All I can say is MUST READ!! I can't wait till the next book comes out!

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

I was excited to see this third book out – there's only one more to come...So far I've loved this unusual fantasy trilogy about the Arash, a group of sort of immortal humans with special abilities. No vampires, no werewolves, just Arash, and though I love the others its been great meeting a new type of fantasy character.
So, after all the dramas at the end of the last book where is the story going next? I love the romance between Cassius and Liv, he was so determined in his pursuit of her, and they already been through a lot. So it was really sad to see poor Liv hurt so badly when Cassius gets infatuated by another girl....that was heartbreaking, and like the rest of the group I was shocked by it. Then there's the search for Liv's mum Rebecca. They've just found out she's alive, kidnapped for the last 20 years by another Arash, and not dead as they'd thought. Now the search is on for her.
Liv sister Sophie features a lot in this book, in the last book Liv was supposed to wipe her memories of the Arash but she didn't, breaking Arash laws. It's just as well though, as what she knows is very important to this book. Poor Liv in despair at Cassius' behaviour, alienated from much of the Arash for the secrets she's keeping, discarded once again she feels by her family, is very depressed. I can understand that – the others are puzzled at Cassius too, but can offer no explanation for his affection for someone else and dropping her....Only Sophie seems to remain steadfast to her she thinks. Of course everything is not as it seems on the surface, but this novel is really full of emotion from Liv POV, and I was so upset for her. Some of her actions seem a bit offkey to the others, but she can't tell them her secrets, though she has their interests at heart always. She thinks they've discarded her, but she still loves them and will look out for their welfare, even if it means risking her own life again.
It's a really emotional read, and full of surprises. I hate when leads get superpowers right at the crucial moment, but Elke manages to overcome that by sliding in new essential talents as part of the story, of the characters growth and changes. Arash can gain new special abilities as they mature, so bringing them in prior to them being needed works well. Cassius, ah Cassius, what are you thinking??? Liv went through so much, what will happen with their romance, the one enduring constant that's been the real hook to my love of this series? Lots of questions in this part, lots of answers too, but then more questions open up :-) Devious Elke, just Devious! And then that ending! What exactly has happened? My mind is puzzling it once again and I need the next book – now, ASAP please.
Again a cracking read, full of danger, excitement, puzzles to be worked out, old and new romances to get sorted, and an all round excellent read. Once I've all four books I'm definitely having a back to back reading session with them...
Stars: fabulous read, full of drama, action and emotion. Five stars.

A Unique Paranormal Story
This book picks up right where the previous one left off and throws even more issues into Livia's already complicated life. Poor Livia just can't seem to catch a break.
Once again, we start this book thinking that Cassius and Livia will finally get some good time together after all the drama they had in the previous book. No such luck! After introducing Cassius to Rose, some really strange things start to happen. Couple that with the search for her estranged mother and things rapidly deteriorate for Livia. Sophie also plays a major role in this book, along with all of Livia's new family.
The characters are great, and we even get a new one that I was really starting to like a lot more than Cassius. All of them have big flaws and issues, but they somehow make it work (sometimes). The only thing that makes reading these books a little difficult is the constantly changing POV. If that doesn't bother you, then these books will be a breeze to read. The pages fly by once you get back into the "zone" of reading this way, so that's really not an issue. There's a sort of cliffhanger (in that issues are unresolved), and I really don't know where this last book will take us, but I hope we get at least a little bit of a happy ending for Livia.
Carrie Williams

Livia and her family are trying to recover from the calling of Raytara and Fergus’ punishment. Livia is happy and things are back to normal with Cassius. They seem to be happy overall, except the information about her mother. Everyone is ready to go find her but Livia is hesitant. She knows she should be all over it, but she isn’t. She is scared of what will happen when they find her.
Livia is right to worry. Everything changes when she introduces Cassius to Rose. Something comes over him as his attention centers on Rose. He no longer seems interested in Livia. Unable to change anything, Livia leaves him behind to search for Eamon and her mother, Rebecca. Sohie helps in the search. Livia couldn’t bring herself to erase her memories. However, Sophie proves valuable as they deal with Eamon’s antics and as he threatens to kill everyone.
Things continue to fall apart for Livia as her mother’s welcome is anything but warm and Rose continues to turn everyone against her. She also discovers something new about herself. She is terrified about this new development and refuses to reveal it to her family. Eamon is the only one who knows of her new mark. In fact, the one who claimed to kill her is now the only one she can turn to for help.
This is the third book in the Arash Series. I have read all three and love the series. I was surprised at the direction this book took. Livia and Cassius just made things right between them and then Rose interferes. Rose, in the previous book, was a good friend of Livia’s. So I was shocked at what she did.
I instantly felt sorry for Livia as everything fell apart. The author makes you want to rally around her. In the end I feel sorry for Cassius. The fault wasn’t his yet he lost everything.
The story kept me riveted and I couldn’t put it down. In fact, I read it in one day. The author presented twists and turns that were unexpected and kept me reading to see what would happen next. She threw so many changes into the storyline of the series that I can’t wait to read what happens next.

Jhanmar – World Travellers, Arash Vol. 4, Elke Schuster Review from jeannie zelos book reviews Genre: Fantasy/Paranormal Romance I’ve really enjoyed this series and now we’re on to the final book. I’ve mixed feelings – it’s great to find out how everything comes together and yet I’ll miss these characters...that’s always a problem for me but I’d rather an author stick to what's planned than just drag more books out that don’t really fit. I’ve seen ( and read) this too many times. So Livia is stuck with Ethan, her life seems perfect, she’s in love with him, and everyone seems happy when they meet. So why is she feeling something is not right? Is she just being picky or is there a more sinister reason behind the surface perfection of her life? In the meantime the others are trying desperately to see if she survived the fire, hoping she did and yet fearing the worse as time goes on and she doesn’t contact them. The strong family we first met is in pieces, crumbling with all the shocks and events of recent times. They’re spilt into groups set against each other, and being cleverly manipulated. Cassius is distraught, thinking he’s killed Livia, Rupert desperate for a way to save Sophie, who’s dying. Ruth and Augustus are also ill, with Rebecca and Leila keen for a way to save them. Throw in the evil Ethan and power hungry Philomena, and we can see just what tangles are coming. Add to all the the changes recently that have happened to Livia, and its an all action read. I love the romance between Cassius and Livia, have been rooting for them since book one. I hated the events that Rose set in motion, and yet somehow every time they get together something happens to separate them. They’re like doomed lovers, but I need them to come through, somehow everything must work for them. It’s hard going though and once again they struggle, with what seems like endless problems before they can reach each other for good. Its a fascinating read, full of a kind of magic and where it seems events have been prophesied many centuries before. As always though its hard to work out exactly what’s meant by the words once they find them – who are they meant for, and what needs to be done? The families are divided, and behind it all there are those who want to make everything fit their own plans, and will stop at nothing to make it happen. I felt there was scarcely time to breathe between one event and the next here. Soon as one problem was sorted another two would crop up. Somehow though Elke pulls it all together into a satisfying conclusion, tying up all those little threads into a neat and perfect ending. It did seem a little rushed though – that’s my only criticism. There was such a huge and gripping build up, and then once events set in motion they were over very quickly it seemed. I’m not sure how else it could have been done though, so maybe my crit simply isn’t justified. That's why I’m a reader though and not a writer – I simply wouldn’t know where to start Winking smile Stars: Five, perfect ending and one to keep.
