This book is the classic battle of good vs. evil. It starts with a group of teenagers who decide to play with an oija board and instead of talking to their friend they invite evil into their lives. Years later Jane one of the original group of teenagers is called back home and is then in a battle with evil. She is helped along the way by several noble people. In the midst of this battle Jane and the Sherrif develop a romance. You will have to read the book to find out if good triumphs over evil.

Once you make the decision to buy Dark of Night by Marios Savva, please head my advice. Clear your schedule and do not make plans. Even though you will be hooked from the first page Marios Savva's pacing is perfect. Eerie, spooky, thought provoking, and smart... I loved every word. I am grateful this is only book one.
