Cali has been on the run for the last few years. She has several scores to settle starting with the professor who raped her younger sister. Cali trusts no one not even herself. She longs for the family she once had but tragically lost. Her father has been in hiding all of her life

Tango has a new assignment after being discharged from the Marines protect Cali till he to sick to continue. Cali does not trust Tango at first, second or even at third sight but a friendship and bond begins to develop between them.

Now Cali must finally trust Tango enough to save his life. Everyone else wants what her father has and these two are being hunted across the country.

This book had a little of everything suspense, danger, intrigue,excitement, passion, jealousy, revenge, freedom, forgiveness and self acceptance. I THROUGHLY ENJOYED this book.

Quick review :)

What I loved - Stand Alone. Strong, well developed characters, drama, angst, suspense.

There really isn't anything I can put my finger on that I didn't enjoy about this story. Tango and Cali are quite a pair and their decisions will leave you crying, yelling, and wanting to toss your kindle, but they are done for bigger reasons and it really makes for a compelling story.
