A good strong story. Would make an exceptional movie. I was hooked from the start. Great job!
Anderson Harp's Born of War is a military thriller, pitting an ex and current Special Forces against the terrorist group Al-Shabaab and their homegrown operatives, with the background of a highly-transmittable and deadly disease in Africa.
A fast-paced book, Born of War switches between multiple perspectives, all with their own mission to complete. Once the characters are sorted out, the multiple perspectives lead to a more compelling story, though the end resolution seems to come quickly compared to the lead up. 4 stars.
