Description
For a girl born of privilege and a young man bred for status, life truly sucks. And what was love but a twisted thing or currency to earn from unloving parents? At least, until they meet each other...
Abigail - Abused to the point of defeat, seventeen doesn't seem a bad age to die. Surviving suicide leads her to a second chance at V'Salicus Academy to become a Cleanser, a protector of lost souls.
Basil - Perfection is the key to earning his parents' love. A slip of the tongue lands him in service to hell as the devil's newest Harvestor, a collector of lost souls to feed his new master's constant craving.
As with angels and demons, love is forbidden for Cleansers and Harvestors, yet it is the forbidden that is most alluring. When their paths cross, true love is what Abigail and Basil finally discover in each other. Can they hold tight to their love, or will duty trump all, leaving them both to a fate of Neverlove?

Amazon 5* review titled "Read in one sitting" - Neverlove hooked me from page one and wouldn't let go. The fast-paced plot, never-ending twists and turns, and like-able but flawed characters, meant I read it in one sitting.
Abigail Bishop has been dealt a bad deal in life. When an attempt to end her miserable life goes wrong, she finds herself at the V'Salicus Academy starting a very different existence as a Cleanser. As a Harvester of Souls, Basil is her polar opposite and enemy. Yet, when they meet, they form an unlikely bond, and that bond forms the central story of Neverlove.
Neverlove is at times gut wrenching and at others heart warming, a tale of love against the odds. Brown takes you through a whole roller coaster of emotions, and ultimately asks whether there can redemption for even the worst of sinners.
If you like YA books with equal measures of romance and the paranormal, I highly recommend this book.
Amazon 4* review titled "Good read love is the key to life" - I enjoyed reading this book because we think of hell but don't really know much about it .Neverlove gave us a glimpse into the unknown . It reenforced the fact that love conquers all.
Amazon 3* review titled "Neverlove" - Abigail has had a pretty crappy life - so one day she decides to end it all, but fate has a different outcome for her. Transported to V'Salicus Academy to become a Cleanser. This transformation does more than give her a second chance at life, it gives her a chance to heal her past hurts and live a life she loves with people she cares about. Basil is the opposite of Abigail, some bad luck leaves him in a deal with the devil and he becomes a Harvester of souls for hell. When he meets Abigail, neither expecting who the other really is, they have an instant connection.
This story is about redemption and moving forward despite the odds stacked against you. Abigail and Basil are both wonderful individuals and their personalities and goodness shine through on every page. The world Angela Brown has developed for them is spectacular. I loved how she described the inbetween world of Withers - it was very creepy.
