I Love Love Loved this story! Not only was it full of humor, but the undertones behind each scene were very well written. Even though there is an agenda to the story, never once does it feel preachy or even religious in nature. The author has an original mind and the ability to create a strong voice, two essentials for storytelling. He's an accomplished professional, and the work reflects it. The novel is infused with his unique sense of humor, making the novel a breezy and most entertaining read. Contrasting the voices of the Devil, God, Gabriel, etc. was a great idea, making the story both lightheartedly reverent and deliciously irreverent. The devil's voice as narrator, in particular, was witty, but all the voices were well written. The author has a good sense of pacing and the dialogue throughout was crisp and succinct. His extra materials were expansive and fun to read. The book was carefully edited and copyedited, which is so often not the case in self-publishing, so kudos for that. --Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Award review
