Description
Two bodies are discovered on the grounds of "The Bastille," home to a coven of witches who belong to the Guild of Immortal Women. The bodies have strange characteristics, so what follows is a combination merry and sinister romp through ancient history. Medieval times are brought to life through a massive Tapestry adorning the mansion's walls where the characters -- animals and humans -- emerge through tears in the fabric.
It is up to Detective Matt Mathers and social worker Lynn Swanson to solve the murder-mystery while dealing with the strange world of magic, Guardian Abbey's amnesia from her past lives, and the devilish mission of Robert and the Doctor to create an immortal heir through the laboratory.

Five Star Review - Could not put it down! Loved the mixture of modern and renaissance. Loved the mystery and intrigue, too! Great characters and story line. Want more...when is book two coming out??!
Guild Of Immortal Women by David Alan Morrison is such a humorous book. Even if you don't think you'll smile while reading it, you will. This book will grab you from page one. It mixes medieval, fantasy magic with modern day life. The way it is written it makes the reader feel as if they are a part of the story. The characters are fun and funny. I loved reading it. In fact, I re-read it twice it was that good. I gave it 5 stars but it deserves more. I highly recommend this book for everyone especially if you want a fun book to read and to laugh with. I look for more from David Alan Morrison.
Four Star Review - Engrossing, fun ride This book is an exciting ride that draws you in, right from the get-go. It's got a fun blend of medieval, fantasy magic with the modern day. It's got a zany cast of characters, and leaves the door open for a sequel. I look forward to reading about the future adventures of the Immortal Women!

Detective Anthony Mathers Jr toke one last picture of the dead womens ankle tattoo. He didn’t want murder associated with the ladies. Elenor and the other women of the Bastile were regional icons. They were very generous with their family money to different charity causes. Anthony had never met anyone who disliked any of the Emerson family for the past hundred years. Janet worked for the Dept. of Forests and Parks. Lynn was the therapist at the Meadows a psychiatric hospital. Abby was a patient there who was just starting to get her memory back but Abbu was being released and going back home with her aunts to the Bastile. Lynn thought Abby should stay longer and Abby wanted to until she was shown a trinket by her Aunt Elanor then Abby became okay with leaving quickly. Then Abby’s aunts are trying to get Abby to quickly remember so the tapestry can be fixed that holds
This was a pretty good story. It did take me a while to be able to start to understand this story. This story did have alot to it: villians, time travel, dead “old” bodies, murder, mystery, insanity, some history, a broken tapestry, amnesia, action, magic, trechery, and alot more. The ending seemed a little rushed but did seem to leave an opening for another book but by doing so did leave some things unansweredand I didn’t really care for that. But I did enjoy the ins and outs.
