Samplers like this are so helpful for reviewers! I found several intriguing titles here. My only suggestion would be to include a direct link to the NetGalley page for any of the sampled titles that are available for request. Thank you for providing this valuable resource!

Thank you St Martin's for doing this because I have discovered a whole bunch of books that I don't think I normally would have found on my own. They are different from what I am use to reading and I can't wait to read them. Please do more of these samplers

As a book blogger, previews like these are quite helpful. It allows me to plan out which books I want to read and review. There are so many titles coming in the next few months that I'm very excited about.

As I was planning to read some of these books, I'm not reading those samples. I'll read the samples of others and give my first impression. I don't give full reviews for samples as I didn't read the book yet. I make my decision and later if I choose to read, I will update with full review upon publication. So here we go.

A june of ordinary murders - a historical police procedure. kind of interesting, actually. I may be checking this one out later.

her name is rose - contemporary fiction. about relationships. not exactly my thing.

the perfume garden - historical fiction. spanish civil war. very interesting.

pretty ugly - by a former writer of family guy. satire. definitely something I'll be reading later. I would recommend it.

meeting the english - set in the UK in the 80's. a bit of satire.

the thunder of giants - historical fiction. love story. magical is kind of how it felt.

a murder of magpies - wow. not what i expected. I'll will definitely be reading this one later.

the friendship of criminals - a crime novel. thriller. quite good.

the secrets of midwives - a generational story. actually intriguing.

the figaro murders - murder mystery I'll for sure be reading later.

the tragic age - contemporary young adult. psychological. seems very interesting.

I love samplers - they oftentimes alert me to books that weren't even on my radar - so I don't know how I missed this one when it first came out. This one is a little difficult to navigate on my Kindle, so I'm not sure I caught everything, but the excerpt from The Last Flight of Poxl West caught my attention.

I am a big fan of these samplers. Truthfully I had not previously heard of most of these books. But I enjoyed reading the descriptions. And for those that I wanted to know more about I enjoyed reading the sample chapters.

I love these samplers because they allow reviewers, like myself, to read samples of books prior to requesting an ARC copy. This is fantastic for two reasons. First, I can determine when a book is not for me and save the publisher's resources for a better suited reader. Second, I get to find out about upcoming releases so that I can request these books and mark them on my TBR.

In this sampler, I am most excited for Duplicity by N.K. Traver.
