What a wonderful end to a wonderful series. Everyone happy, settled and finally safe from all the evil machinations of the villains. I could say Cyn and Fallon are my favorite couple but that would be a lie because every one of the couples in this series are my favorite.
Dante and Abby with their amazing story of survival. Shay and Viper, deadly on their own, lethal together. Darcy and Styx, the beauty who tames the beast. Anna and Cezar, each the others anchor. Jagr and Regan finding solace in each other after their tortured pasts. Salvatore and Harley, a ray of hope for each other and their species. Tane and Laylah, brave and protective, facing every danger together. Jaelyn and Ariyal, complete opposites but oh so right together. Caine and Cassie, sane together in the insanity surrounding them. Nefri and Santiago, a refuge for each other after the betrayal from one they trusted. Roke and Sally, whoever said witches and vampires don't mix was crazy. And of course Cyn and Fallon, finding a place to belong in each other's arms.
Let's not forget Sophia and Luc, Victor and Juliet, Valla and Elijah, Gia and Damon, Uriel and Kata and the wonderful Levet who played the role of cupid in getting most of these amazing characters together. I wish he could have found his soulmate but I guess he and Yannah were not meant to be.
This has been one of my favorites so I am sad this series has ended but all good things must come to an end. Bravo! Alexandra Ivy, may all your future offerings be just as magnificent.

I couldn’t believe that this would be the last edition of Alexandra Ivy’s hugely successful Guardians of Eternity series, but end it has.
And while I refuse to write spoilers about a final book, I can tell you that Ms Ivy has provided readers with a fabulous final chapter to wrap up the many years of angst and turbulence her characters have repeatedly suffered.
While this book is essentially Cyn and Fallon’s story; and a thrilling, action-packed, explosive story it is, it also captures the heart and soul of what this series has meant to me from the moment I read When Darkness Comes.
The very best of this series were books 1-3 (for me personally) and the inclusion of original characters from these books made the telling complete. Dante, Viper and Styx were always larger than life and singularly spectacular, but collectively they displayed a strength and companionship that was staggering.
So in conclusion, I would say that When Darkness Ends has come full circle and Ms Ivy has written a novel that brings readers home and cements our love of the Guardians of Eternity, empathy for the trials they have endured and respect for their never-ending determination to safeguard the survival of their kind.

I'm a huge fan of the Guardians of Eternity series so I was so excited to read this new release and I was not disappointed. It is a great sexy paranormal romance and this one is centered on Cyn and Fallon. Cyn is a sexy vampire and Fallon is a Chatri princess. I loved seeing them fall for each other as they save the world one last time from evil. The story is fast paced, never gets slow or boring or repetive which I love about this series. A. I. keeps the story moving with the romance and action which makes it hard to stop reading. The sex scences are hot and detailed, yummy. Past heros make an appearce but it reads as a stand alone. If you haven't read this series, I highly recommend it. Levit plays his part here and he is fun as always. The story is witty, sexy and action packed. One of my favorite series. It reads like the end of the series but I hope A.I. will visit them again in the future. I will miss them but I'm sure I will reread this series again to remind me of why I have enjoyed each release of the Guardians of Eternity.
