I have been a fervent reader of Ruth Silvers books ever since I found her via NetGalley. So, when she contacted me asking if I wanted to read Stolen Art of coarse I said yes!

Madeline is a criminal, but not by choice. Having been in and out of of the foster care system for as long as she can remember she learned early on how to fend for herself. Recently she was asked by a mystery client to steal a rare piece of art when the the unthinkable happens. She is caught and immediately smells a setup, but without any information or clues as to why; shes stuck.

Weston is a police detectives son and while hanging out around the station one day he meets Madeline and is immediately intrigued and whisks her away to go for some food and takes her home, (technically a abandoned home where she is squatting) not knowing she is there because she was arrested.

The next day his father tells him that Madeline committed a murder and they have to find her or his job will be on the line. Weston knows that Madeline must be innocent, but what to do now?

As with her other books I enjoyed Stolen Art VERY much. I felt for Madeline and throughout the book I was cheering for her even when it seemed like end was near for her. I liked that this book was part science fiction part real life drama and I think that it will appeal to a wide audience because of this.

The action was fast paced and unpredictable which made for a very exciting read!
