Sometimes you need a little help.
Matt Carver was stuck on a TransAtlantic cruise with his entire family. And while he loved them all, the two-week trip was going to kill him. Especially since his well-meaning mother loved to meddle in his personal life. The only way he could keep the peace, and his sanity, was to produce a fake girlfriend. Good thing he had just the woman for the role: Beth Riley, an adventurous beauty who’d already rescued him once.

And sometimes you just want to run away.
Beth Riley needed an escape. Her normal drama-free life was swimming in scandal after her sister announced she was marrying Beth’s ex-boyfriend. In order to distance herself from the wedding fiasco, Beth fled the country. It was her chance to sort out her feelings and reevaluate her love life. But the cruise wasn’t the fun filled break she’d been expecting. Luckily Matt, with his harebrained plan, provided the perfect distraction.

The whole ruse was supposed to be harmless, but things quickly turned intense when their made-up relationship and fake kisses produced undeniable heat.

Cute fluffy romance. Entertaining and mostly angst free makes this a good pick for a beach read. I would definitely read more in this series.

Amazing novel. I was enthralled from beginning to end. My only complaint is that the ending seemed to come to fast. I feel like it could have been drawn out a tad. This was truly one of the best books I have read in 2015. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know.

When it started off i thought this was going to be another cliche book, but it kept taking twist and turns and I loved every moment. It had a few red herrings that made me slightly annoyed, but not enough to damper my excitement.

I found this to be a sweet and soothing easy read. Nothing outstanding, but a cute bit of escapism. I liked and was intrigued by Beth, with her unconventional lifestyle, and Matt made a great book boyfriend.

this was cute but it lacked something. Maybe the indecision between the 2 main characters thru most of the story

I enjoyed this book. It was fun, funny and had a good storyline. Beth is man-shy after her sister gets engaged to Beth's ex and the wedding is looming. Beth escapes onto a transatlantic cruise.

On the flight to the port, she meets Matt and they get on well. Once on board, she discovers Matt is there with his huge family. She agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend to keep his mother and sister-in-law's matchmaking at bay.

Of course emotions and feelings soon come into it and there is a lot of misunderstandings and making up (the sex is well written too). Gina describes shipboard life well and I enjoyed the cruise!

Her descriptions of sister-in law and her sister are brilliant - and so bitchy!! In fact all the characters are well drawn and really support Beth and Matt well.

I look forward to Simon's (Matt's work colleague) story in the next book.

First off I have to thank Netgalley for allowing me to read this story before it is released. The story starts with Beth escaping Chicago so that she doesn't have to help her sister plan a wedding to a man Beth used to date. This defection on top of her parents divorce, years ago, has made Beth less than optimistic about marriage. Then she meets Matt!! What starts out simple turns into something that will turn her life upside down and cause her to doubt everything she previously thought about relationships. This was a great summer read, not for the prude though, I loved it! I can't wait to read more from this author. Gina Drayer will be added to my watch-list.

Really liked it. I happened to read it while I was taking a cruise and everything seemed so realistic to me. I had to laugh when I got to the scene where she was dressed up for the 70s theme night and I realized that the 70s theme night was happening right now on my own cruise ship. I really liked how Beth and Matt related to each other so easily, and their interactions seemed natural and real. The chemistry was evident and the drama of Beth always traveling seemed like natural drama to me.
