Dr. Crandall, a renowned cardiologist stated:

"I have seen the dead come to life.
Literally. I have heard the tales that dead men and women tell once they’ve returned from the brink.
I have witnessed astonishing healings and impossible recoveries.
I have been in that sacred moment, even with my own son, when a life passes from this world into the next.
(One nurse said it well: “Sometimes you can feel a person’s spirit leave the room.”)
I have witnessed the peaceful passing of those who were confident of heaven, as well as the sometimes-fearful transition of those who scoffed at it."

Dr. Crandall has witnessed the deaths of those who were on their deathbeds many times - he noticed distinct differences between those who are dying without God - there is chaos, agony, confusion and disruption.
Those who die knowing God have peace and certainty no matter what the patients' circumstances are.


The author tells us about many instances of people who needed God in their last hours. Mr. Stein was warned buy an angel during the Korean War to hide in a trench and his life would be spared and it was. Mr. Stein told this story to his cardiologist who asked Him if he wanted to accept Jesus in his heart and he did, Mr. Stein was concerned about his soul while his family was fighting over his estate.

The author describes being brought up in a traditional church without knowing who God was, but when he got older,married his wife Deborah, and then his son Chad got cancer, he started relying on God's Spirit and His Word, and he got hungry for God. He was at services in America and overseas where he'd seem and experienced God multiplying communion and children's' lunches in a supernatural way! He knew God was living, active and real! He saw and laid hands on people for healing and he was led by God to pray for every patient who let him, and most of them allowed him to.

Dr. Crandall also mentions a trip to Haiti in 2010 after the earthquake in which he and a colleague were praying for a multitude of adults and children sick with cholera and how they started getting better and not dying as the patients had been doing before they came!

You will be thrilled to see how God has answered Dr. Crandall's prayers as he has been growing in faith and learning about how God uses prayer, speaking in tongues and being obedient to what God tells him to do!

Their son Chad was even raised from the dead when his wife Deborah prayed for him! Yet a few weeks later Chad died and he was not resurrected! Dr. Crandall and his wife Deborah were given reassurance by God from an angel who looked like a man that their son was OK in Heaven!
Dr. Crandall prayed for a man named Jeff who had suffered cardiac arrest and the doctors had given up on him and as Dr. Crandall asked God for Jeff's life and to raise him if he was not saved he came back to life! Dr. Crandall told Jeff about Jesus and he got saved and they found out later that his ex-wife and daughter had been praying for him!
