Description

Enter the dark and mysterious world of Roman DePaul, CEO of DePaul Enterprises by day, vampire extraordinaire by night. Roman is a smoldering hot, African vampire with not only a thirst for blood, but an insatiable hunger for power. He would do anything to one day rule the underworld and to be revered as king of his kind. But just how far would Roman go to become ruler? What would he be willing to do to obtain god-like powers that would assure him a seat on the throne and omnipotent power?

Tough as nails and more beautiful than any runway model, Desiree Chase finally had it all. A glamorous lifestyle that included a beautiful home by the beach, and more money than she could ever spend. She was finally at the top of her game. Her life was seemingly perfect until she stepped into the office of Roman DePaul, an uptight, ridiculously-good-looking brother who came with not only a set of impressive fangs, but also a few kinky fetishes.

Thrown into a new world of vampires and werewolves, Desiree has a lot to learn about this new world and the man who would become her consort for life.

Author_Bio: Blessed to be living in Southern California (Wine Country). I love writing fantasy, science fiction and romance novels. I've always been a dreamer with a wild and vivid imagination. That, along with all the wine, is a great combination for any genre.

I tend to write fantasy novels because it takes me away from reality for a while. As quoted best by Dr. Seuss, fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

Fantastic read

This book was ridiculous. The story was unbelievable and push aspects that were not continued. There was confusion as to who was the goddesses daughter as both of the friends were apparently "goddesses".
The story jumped all over the place as if a bunch of ideas were put onto paper with no linking between them

Most confusing book ever? I've literally no idea what to make of it.

I enjoyed the storyline to the book, easy reading although it took a few chapters to get into. I felt like it was all an introduction to the next book, as whilst things happened, the big moment (or moments) didn't really feel like it was there. There were issues with spelling and grammar in places, which made the book feel unfinished and resulted in me rereading paragraphs to see if I had mis read something.

I was able to get through half of the book before I stopped on the poor narrative and writing.
