Description
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cassie Edwards tells a sweeping tale of fateful love, forbidden, yet undeniable. . .
Hannah Kody came to her brother's ranch in the Kansas Territory to be his eyes, as his sight was failing fast. Yet his misfortune couldn't dim the joy she found in the wide vistas of the Western plains. And the excitement she found in the presence of Strong Wolf. The future chief of the Patawatomis stood tall and proud, and Hannah dreamed she had traveled there to meet him. . .
But for Strong Wolf, Hannah was supposed to be the enemy, allied not only to the settlers he distrusted, but to the brutal foreman of her brother's ranch. He felt only sorrow could come of their attraction, until the day Hannah rode to his lodge, fell into his arms, and launched a journey neither had the desire to deny...

I started reading the Savage series by Cassie Edwards about 20 years ago, and loved all of them. I couldn't wait to read The Wild Series. The book was fantastic. It had the Native American romance that is expected with this author. 2 thumbs up!
I was gifted this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.
I have been reading Cassie Edwards books for many years now and as you can tell i am a huge fan of hers, not only are her books seamlessly written but they are a joy to read as well, all her characters have a fantastic depth to them so much so you feel that you actually no them in real life.
Hannah Kody is finally free and is being sent to the Kansas Territory to look after her brother. Its all that she has longed for and more, freedom.
She is at her brother's ranch to be his eyes, as his sight has been failing him. Yet his misfortune hasn't been able to dim the pure joy that Hannah found in this limitless vistas of the proud and beautiful Western plains.
Hannah has found something else to be joyous about, Strong Wolf. He is the Future chief of the Patawatomis, he stands handsome tall and proud, he is everything Hannah has dreamed about she knows he is her destiny. And Strong Wolf has dreamed of her too, a beautiful golden-haired woman reaching out to him with the primal pull of desire.
But all is not as happy as it seems when some sinister people plot against them.
What a fantastic book i thoroughly enjoy it and i learnt allot from it as well.
I Loved Strong Wolf what a man, and even with all those out there wanting to cast aspersions against him and his people all he wants is peace, harmony, and to have good friends surround him.
Hannah has such a rebellious bright nature about her and a go get attitude that is such an asset to the book.
There is nothing about this book i didn't love, i just wish i could have told the author myself what a privilege it is to read and review her books.
5 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books
I love Cassie Edwards and her books! They are the best in Western Romances! This is the second book in the "Wild Tribes" series. Also it is a 2nd time release.... which I am so glad for! I missed the first release and so happy to have this one now! Runner is the hero of this story and was set in being a Indian even though he is white and was taken in by the Indians. When the Heroine, Stephanie Helton comes in the picture things change. I like that she was a photography for that time period. Loved this book and hope you do too!
