Description

Once upon a time, Faith Sullivan dreamed of being a famous painter who lived in an apartment overlooking Central Park. Unfortunately, life had other ideas and at 26, she’s still running, working and living at Sully’s, her family’s traditional Irish pub in Brooklyn with her stubborn, ailing father. And she was perfectly fine with her lot until suddenly her three best friends each found their prince, and her own happily ever after seemed like another dream lost. Until one day a long, tall Australian walks into her bar and her loved-up besties decided to play Fairy Godmothers.

Ex pro-surfer turned beer baron, Rafael Quartermaine is in New York for a month on business. He’s looking for a pub to launch Baron lager on the American market and Sully’s is perfect. All he has to do is convince Faith, the traditionalist, to say yes. And once he’s done that, maybe he can convince her that all work and no play makes Faith a dull girl.

Faith’s connection to her family and Sully’s is absolute, and Raf’s business drive and itchy feet aren’t conducive to long term, so it should be an easy break when duty calls Faith back into the fold on the evening of the ball. But running out on the baron is harder than she ever imagined… Will their fling sizzle out, or become something more?

Once upon a time, Faith Sullivan dreamed of being a famous painter who lived in an apartment overlooking Central Park. Unfortunately, life had other ideas and at 26, she’s still running, working and...

Seduced by the Baron was a pure joy to read. A modern adaptation of the beloved Cinderella, it was refreshing to find a twist in the story line. For Faith it was love for her family and the place she grew up in was the very thing that was preventing her from living her own life. No evil relatives in sight but only love and loyalty that was the obstacle. So when her Prince Charming comes knocking at her door, it wasn't up to him to liberate her, only she can decide what she needs to do to pursue her dreams. I love all four of the novels in this series and Seduced by the Baron was a fitting book to end it. Excellently written, charming, sexy and heartbreakingly romantic, it truly is a Fairy Tale set in New York.

Book 4 and final book in the series about 4 girlfriends. Each book is by a different author and each one loosely touches on a fairytale. This one is kinda like Cinderella. A good story, and was fun for the most part. A bit more on why each one was so scared of commitments would help, but overall not pressing. Each book would stand alone or can be read out of sequence. Fun series, and I enjoyed each one. Would highly recommend. Great for quick and easy summer readings.

Cinderella....with a twist. This is the final in the four book Fairy Tales of New York series. Faith is well named. The faithful daughter of the Sullivan clan, she took over the running of the pub when her father's health failed a month before she was to attend Columbia to study art. Eight years later, she is still plodding away, taking her mother's place looking after Pop Sullivan and getting little credit for it. She tells herself she is satisfied with the choice she made but the arrival of Raf Quartermaine triggers a restlessness that she didn't expect.

Australian ex-surfer Raf is in the big apple for a few weeks to promote his boutique lager and Sullivan's sounds like just the place to do it. The bonus is Faith who stirs him from their first meeting. Unfortunately her responsibilities make it difficult for her to be the playmate he's used to picking up in his transient lifestyle. He's a nice guy, but his philosophy of "love the one you're with" when he's only ever around for days or weeks makes him a player in Faith's eyes.

I really enjoyed watching Raf and Faith get to know each other and themselves in between some hot and heavy smexy. I'm pretty sure there are no green ties in my house and it's going to stay that way...seriously. I loved the way Faith's friends, and under the influence of the women in their lives, Faith's brothers, stepped up the the plate to give her a Cinderella experience. But of course for every Cinderella, the clock has to strike twelve...

Overall a lovely story with a nice epilogue to tie up the series.

I received this from Netgalley for an honest review. Apparently.

With any series, you want the final book to end on a high, especially if the ones that came before it were good reads. As far as the multi-authored Fairy Tales of New York series is concerned, Amy Andrews's hit the ball out of the park with Seduced by the Baron, the fourth and final tale in the collection of stories about four best friends who find love and fulfillment with the men they're meant to be with. We finally have Faith Sullivan's story, one that didn't have her falling in love with any of her best friends's brothers, though Rafael Quartermaine does have a connection to one of them, Mercy Hernandez.

All four best friends have had their family issues, but Faith's is unique in that she's very close to her father and brothers and would do anything for them. She's taken on the task of managing the Irish pub they've owned for decades, something that her family has taken for granted. They've gotten used to her handling Sully's and whatever her father requires and both her personal and professional dreams have been put on hold for far too long. Rafael's appearance in her life opens her eyes to the possibilities of having a life beyond the pub but the weight of responsibility still sits very heavily upon her shoulders.

Faith's story was inspired by the Cinderella fairy tale by Charles Perrault and while Faith isn't a scullery maid being abused by her evil stepmother and stepsisters, the parallel of putting everything and everyone else's needs and wants ahead of her own is clear. As with Cinderella, Faith's servitude is one that she feels she cannot refuse, but in reality, she could have said something to her father and brothers. I also liked that Mercy, Dawn Turner, and Zel Madison were like three fairy godmothers (which is a bit more Sleeping Beauty-esque since Cinderella only had one) giving Faith her turn at a fairy tale ending.

I loved this tale of love, family, and friendship and how dreams that have been put on hold can still be made into reality if only we choose to finally make time for them. This last book in the series wrapped everything up quite nicely and we finally find out who the heck stole the altar wine in the first place (and the person I suspected really was the one who did it!). I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed that these four authors band together once again to create a new series, whether they be more modern fairy tales in another locale or something different. Seduced by the Baron gets 4.5 stars out of five. ♥

A story full of fireworks, comical exchanges, brilliantly portrayed emotions and packed with enough heat that kept this reader riveted to the story 😀 Amy Andrews portrays two characters that leapt from the pages for this reader. Characters who melts hearts with sparks and passion that fly from the pages 😀

The finale in the Fairy Tales of New York ties up the series pretty near perfect. Faith has featured heavily throughout the series and Amy Andrews has brought her reader a lovely take on a very well-known fairy tale.

"Faith had given up on the whole one-day-my-prince-will-come romantic bullshit."
Until the last book, Taming the Beast, it had been a bit of a mystery who would be Faith's Prince Charming. And to discover that the man in question was an Aussie made me a happy lady, particularly one who in my head resembled Thor. Raf and Faith were perfect together; they brought the sweet and the sexy and whilst it didn't hold any real surprises it mattered not as their romantic journey was just lovely.

"I can't bear the thought of being without you for one more moment."

Kelly Hunter, Heidi, Rice, Lucy King and Amy Andrews have together brought a memorable series that hasn't disappointed in any way. Each has been a pleasure to read, has been linked perfectly and whilst they could all be read as standalones, I wouldn't recommend it simply because it's been a pleasure to become immersed in the lives of this group of people. And with a fine epilogue along with the answer finally confirmed on who did steal the altar wine all those years ago, Amy Andrews has brought the fairy tale that has been this series to a fine end.

Well one of my favourite fairy tales is Cinderella and this story is an awesome Cinderella story Faith Sullivan is the youngest of the Sullivan siblings and since losing her Mum when she was young and then just as she was going of to University her Father has a heart attack and Faith decided that she will stay and run the pub in Brooklyn and care for her father while her brothers enjoy their lives. But the time has come her best friends Zel Mercy and Dawn have all had their HEA's and Faith needs to step up and have some fun so when Aussie Raf arrives to sell his new lager to be sold at the pub wow there is a spark between them that could light up New York :)

This journey to a HEA is so beautiful it is hot passionate and sensual and very heart warming as Raf and Faith learn a lot about each other and themselves and with Zel Mercy and Dawn playing fairy godmothers you will be smiling and cheering them all on as well as shedding a few tears. This is a beautifully written story that is so real MS Andrews has bought the characters on the pages to life and the setting of New York so good I really need to visit New York thank you for a fantastic story that I loved it from start to finish.

This really is a great series of stories that I highly recommend after all who doesn't enjoy a good fairy tale in a wonderful setting.

I read Seduced by the Baron in one sitting, loved it and couldn't put it down.

I loved both Faith and Rafael, they were both likable and relatable. They had amazing chemistry and there was no doubt these two were meant for each other =)

I'm a big fan of Amy Andrews writing and once again she has delivered a well written and entertaining read.

Thank you Tule Publishing via Netgalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Wouldn't we all love a Raf!

The story of how Faith has given up her dreams to look after her father made you cheer her on with her 'sex for as long as it lasts' relationship with Raf.

I loved the fact that in the end Faith's family realised how much they took her for granted and that Raf saved her earing. Awww, such a softie

I loved this series. I could not stop reading it. I would finish one of the books and then start the next right away. Each of the authors did a fantastic job of making it seem seamless. The heart that went into this book and all the rest made this reading experience top notch. Thank you for all the pleasure you gave. Highly recommend.

The final story in this series revolving around four friends in NYC, and this one is outstanding! Faith Sullivan is the last of the four without her very own love. Working in the family pub and looking after her ailing father doesn't leave much time for dating, so Faith will have to live vicariously through her friends. Until Rafael Quartermaine enters her pub and turns her quiet existence on it's head.

Wonderfully written and a great wrap-up for the series. I definitely recommend.

I’m tempted to say they saved the best for last – but I have loved every single title in the Fairy Tales of New York series, and if asked which is my favorite my answer would be the one I’m reading now. They are all such good, loving, sexy, involved love stories. These will be read again, simply to enjoy them back to back in a few months. But for now, let me tell you about this awesome story in Seduced by the Baron.

Faith has been the rock of her family for years now. Since their father’s health issues, Faith has stayed at home watching over Pop and Sullivan’s Bar. Her brothers don’t mean to take advantage of her, she’s simply always been the one to look after Pop and the bar so it’s second-nature to them now to see her behind the bar taking care of business. But Faith had dreams too, dreams that have gone unfulfilled. She put aside her art, she stepped away from her long awaited college art degree to take care of their father and their bar. It hadn’t really bothered her for years, yet now that her three friends and two of her brothers had paired up along with her friend’s brother… well, everyone got their happy ever after – except her. She wouldn’t let it get her down, Pop was her first priority and she was fine with life as it was, wasn’t she?

Raf Quartermaine is about to change all that. The sexy Australian is about to turn Faith’s world upside down. In the best way possible.

I was so thrilled with Faith’s story. She deserved her happy ever after and man, did she ever hit the jackpot. Faith and Raf together just hit all the right notes – sexy, caring all rolled up in one hot former surfer. It was so enjoyable to see Faith step beyond the bar and start to live for herself again. (I have been where the fictional Faith is in this story – and it’s not so easy to give to yourself as well, so I applaud how she was portrayed)

Of course there are issues, there has to be some conflict in any story. Yet, this was handled with style and grace and understanding. I honestly wish there were more stories in this line and I’ll miss my time with Faith, Dawn, Zel and Mercy.

I can highly recommend Seduced by the Baron for anyone at all who wants that happy ever after for their favorite characters. This novel, heck, this series is full of happy ever after so pick this one up and indulge yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of Seducing by the Baron from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

I adore this series, and am a bit sad to see it end (dear authors, maybe the twins could get HEA as well?!). It has been such a pleasure and a joy to get to know the ladies, the Sullivan family, and see them all fall in love. Faith, the loving, caring, loyal, sacrificing friend, sister, and daughter. She has always put everything else in front of herself, and is so deserving an amazing man in her life. And that Raf is. Seamlessly carefree, fun, considerate and kind, not to mention hot as can be, Raf is just for Faith deserves. You can practically feel the two falling for each other, and falling hard. And they are sizzling together, the heat is high, the connection between them is harmonious. They get each other, and understand each other in such adorable way. There's so much humor, charm, and delight in the story, companionship of the lifelong friends, family togetherness, as well as tragedy. Faith has to grow and let go of the control, to be able to move on with her own life, and the victory of that is jubilation. I am going to miss the gang from the Sullivan's, but I am so glad I got to meet them in the first place!

This five star read is the fourth book in the Fairy Tales of New York series about four school friends. This is the Cinderella story.

Our heroine, Faith, is looking after her dad and the family pub, and feeling very left out as her three best friends have all found love. "A guy walks into a bar ..." sounds like a song. Our hero walks into the bar, on business, in jeans and a henley, wanting to set up a meet and greet with the owner. Faith turns him down, he persists and she agrees to a taste test. Oh my word, the taste test. He shows up in an expensive suit, and a tie to match his eyes. Oh, that tie. Fanning myself. Hot, hot hot. When he takes it off, and offers it to Faith, as a blindfold for the taste test, just wow!

This series ends with a wow! Thanks for the great series, and I hope they do more Fairy Tales of ... series.

The final tale in the Fairy Tales of New York series brings us to the fourth friend. A spin on Cinderella, Faith Sullivan gave up her dreams of becoming an artist when her father had a heart attack, instead taking over running of the family pub and care of her father. Her 3 friends have found their HEA, and she despairs finding happiness. When Australian Rafael walks into Sully's to meet his friend Mercy, he is bowled over by the sassy bartender. Not only does he want to convince her to take on his Lager (in an Irish Bar, that is a battle), but also to go out with him. Her three friends (Fairy Godmothers?) convince her to take some time for herself and enjoy Rafe while he is in town. While Faith and Raf expect a month-long fling, her friends hope for something more. There is a ball, fairy godmothers dressing her, and, of course, the clock strikes midnight (metaphorically)and the prince has to chase down his princess.
When she takes the time away from the Pub to be with Raf, she opens herself up to re-discovering her passion for art and her dreams. The whole series has been a journey of wonderful, emotional reads, and this is no exception. All four friends are strong women, the kind of friends anyone hopes to have. Despite their separation, they stand by and support each other in finding their futures. This was a great series to read and all four authors did an amazing job of working together, keeping the continuity of the stories and the characters. They fit together extremely well. I highly recommend the entire series.

Seduced by the Baron is the fourth and final in the Fairy Tales of New York series. This retelling of Cinderella was the perfect way to close the series. Faith and Raf are my favorite of the Fairy Tales series. I loved this fast paced, fun and sexy read.

I received a copy of this story from Tule Publishing for an honest review (thank you!). This is the last book of 4 from the Fairy Tales of New York series about 4 friends from boarding school. Faith is the only daughter of a working class Irish family who own a bar. Her father had health issues and she felt it was her duty to step up and take care of him and the bar. She sacrificed her future and dream of being an artist. Rafael is an Australian and former surfer who established his own beer which he's bringing to the American market through Faith's bar. It was great to see the other women and their love interests from the previous books. I really liked Zelda making an appearance and encouraging Faith in her own sassy way. I liked that Faith stepped out (of her comfort zone of sorts) and took a chance at finally living a life of her own and allowing herself to be happy with Rafael. This was a good story, plus we finally find out who stole the altar wine!

Seduced by the Baron is the final book in the Fairy Tales of New York series. Feeling trapped Faith daydreams of a different life for herself. She longs to follow her dream of becoming an artist and finding the type of happiness and love that her friends have. Raf may just be the distraction she needs. Can she step away from her responsibilities and paint her own happily ever after with a little help from her friends. I have really enjoyed reading this entire series. Intriguing women, hot men and fantastic fairytales. A winner all the way.

Book four of the “Fairy Tales of New York” brings Faith Sullivan her very own Prince Charming and her happily ever after.

Running her father’s pub, sacrificing her desire of being a artist to help her father run their family pub leaves no room for Faith Sullivan to socialize or romance. All she’s got is her four friends and their unconditional love and support along with her alpha brothers.

Fate brings the rich baron Rafael Quartermain into her pub and her life suddenly is filled with romance and companionship. Along with testing his new beer in the pub, he is smitten with Faith and wants to test the sparks that ignited between them.

Short and sweet, romantic and charming, emotional and heartwarming, Amy Andrews delivers Faith’s fairy tale with finesse and sizzle. Truly heartwarming and enjoyable as Faith and Rafael get there very own happy ending.

The final installment of this series was wonderful. I was happy to see Faith finally put her foot down and herself first. Raf was so hot and sweet and just absolutely wonderful. This book made me sad to see the series end. I really enjoyed learning more about Faith, who always managed to be there for everyone else but no one ever thought to return the favor. Cinderella, indeed.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my review.

Faith is tired of her boring life, but too afraid to change it. Meeting a beer baron has her wishing for and wondering about all the what-ifs she might have in the future.

I enjoyed this book a lot. In my opinion, it had the right blend of romance and eroticism. I kept "hearing" Rafe's voice/accent in my head the whole time *swoon*. The friendship that the four girls had was sweet. The story flowed along easily and credibly. I'd definitely like to read the entire series. This one is a must-have/must-buy!

This was a great story and a wonderful conclusion to the Fairy Tales of New York series.Faith Sullivan has always worked hard. She gave up her dreams of going to art school to help her father run the family pub after he had a heart attack. She never really takes any time for herself. Her friends have all found love and she doesn't this it will ever happen to her. In walks Rafe....Mercy's totally hot friend from Australia. Rafe is looking for an american pub to launch his new lager...he just has to convince Faith. Faith is reluctant to give Rafe or his lager a chance until her friends encourage her to just have a fling while he is in town. Faith agrees...and the matchmaking begins. This was a great Cinderella story, with no evil step-mother or step-sisters. Faith always wanted to please everyone else. Rafe never wanted to be tied down, but sometimes when things feel right you just have to run with it. Both realize that life is so much better with the other in it and they want more than a month. It is a touching, emotional story and I really enjoyed it. Actually, I really enjoyed this whole series....and I am sorry to see it end.

The final story in the Fairy Tales of New York, this is based on Cinderella. Four friends from highschool, fast forward ten years, when they are all finding their HEA. Faith has been too busy running her father's pub to find her own HEA. In walks Raf, from Austarlia, trying to sell his lager in New York. Their is an instant chemistry between these two, Raf was here only temporary, Faith could do temporary. UNtil feeling come into play.

This book is a great conclusion of this series, a good wrap up. Love the writing of Amy Andrews, she draws me into immediately with her story telling. Sex and humor, what can be better.

Seduced By The Baron is the fourth and final book in the Fairytales of New York series and is a light and entertaining read based on Cinderella.
Faith Sullivan, the only girl in the Sullivan family, has foregone her dreams of doing a fine arts degree to look after her father and the family's Irish pub. Faith is the first to stress that she loves looking after her father and running the pub, but every now and the she feels a pang of jealousy when she looks at her happily partnered friends.
Enter Raf Quartermain, the sun bronzed Aussie micro brewery owner who is set to steal her heart. Raf loves women but he's not a commitment kind of guy and he's only in the States for a little while. This suits Faith just fine because even though the chemistry between these two is off the planer, she doesn't have time for a committed relationship.
This story works well, is well written and makes for a snug winter read if you're in Australia, or an indulgent beach read if you happen to be in the northern hemisphere. This book stands up nicely by itself but is better read as part of the series as you'll get a better idea of context. Enjoy!

Wow, am I sorry to see this series conclude. Each story has been so rich and enjoyable. This final offering from Amy Andrews is sweet and sexy, a lovely romance. The premise was strong and the story fulfilled the promise of the premise and the series. The bonks can stand alone, but I recommend the series. I think that what I liked best about Seduced by the Baron was the dialogue. Sharp, witty and humorous is how I would describe Ms. Andrews' style. The characters were certainly engaging, the settings detailed and vivid, and the happily ever after quite satisfactory.

Seduced by the Baron by Amy Andrews is the fourth and final book in the Fairy Tales of New York series and it was my personal favorite. The writing sucked me in from page one and I found myself falling for Raf right along with Faith. She put her life on hold when her father had a heart attack, and Raf helped her realize that. Raf had a philosophy of love the one you're with and when he and Faith decide to start dating, they agree that their arrangement is temporary. There was a lot of HOT sex and it added to the story. Watching them fall was wonderful, but I could easily predict what was going to cause the big problem for the two of them. This book had parallels with Cinderella and it was easy to see the references. This book was easy to rate 5 stars and I will DEFINITELY be rereading it and falling for Raf all over again.

This story is about Faith and her happily ever after with Raf. Faith, Mercy, Zelda and Dawn were best friends from St. John's academy. One night one of the girls decided to steal a wine got drunk and they were caught by sister.. They made a pact not to reveal who stole the wine. Ten years later, they were all grown up and found love except Faith. Faith was still working at her family pub and taking care of his father. Raf is Mercy's friend from down under who is trying to promote new larger to Sullivan's. He was at New York for a month to promote his larger to american market. Both had crazy chemistry but they couldn't act upon it. It was work at first but things will heat up. Faith gave up her dream to becoming an artist to be working along side his father. After losing her mother, she decided to look after her father.. She says she is really happy to look after her father and a pub but she seems she is taking all the responsibilities from all her siblings. Even though she has so many brothers. She was crazy about Raf but her situation is pushing her back but Raf was consistent and he finally wins her over. When she finally opens up for love things doesn't go smoothly as it should. i thought Faith finally finds her love but her father's condition pulls them apart. Raf is back after a month of promoting his business and she is back to where she was before.. But realize she was missing something.. Her friends are still supporting her and helping her through her hard times. She is finally letting her brothers take responsibilities and pursues her dream. Finally at the epilogue tells happy endings for all her friends and found who actually stole the wine from St. Academy. It was fun read and it was fun series.

Last book of the Fairy Tales of New York series, this is the story of Faith, our Cinderella and Raf, our beer baron. Faith was seen in all three previous books and she seemed great, so I had a lot of expectations on that one. Amy Andrews did an awesome job in bringing Faith to life and getting her her HEA.

Faith is an artist at heart. She was supposed to go to Columbia studying art when her father JP had a heart attack and she volunteered to take care of him and the family pub, Sully's, essentially sacrificing her dreams to take care of her family. Now, years have past and she's still stuck working at Sully's every night, taking care of her father who refuses obstinately to get a surgery to help his heart. Her brothers aren't helping and she has virtually no life. Enter Raf, one of Mercy's friend. He's an Aussie, a beer producer determined to introduce his beer, the Baron, to the American market. In his point of view, Sully's represents the perfect pub to do a trial run. Between Raf and Faith, the sparks fly and he gets to make her take some time off with the help of her friends.

Faith is such a good person. Not many people would do what she does, letting all her dreams go in the interest of her family. I don't think I would have gone that far. I was glad to see her break free, finally. Raf is great, even if he's not as well developped as a character as Faith is.

This book didn't reach the precedent set by Taming the Beast but it was still a great romance about standing up for yourself, love and family.

I had been wondering who would be Cinderella Faith’s Prince Charming especially since two of her brothers wound up with her girlfriends. I was thinking maybe Zelda’s brother but no he went with Mercedes. A little foreshadowing when there is that from call from Australia in Taming the Beast. Perfect, Faith wouldn’t be moved to action unless it was someone brand spanking new to the overall storyline. An Aussie will do just fine.

The Cinderella references are in abundance throughout this story. A few times by the characters, but I have thought about the wicked stepmother. It could be Sully’s Bar. It is even what almost stops her from attending the ball. Certainly Faith is so tied to the place even though her brothers (much better than wicked stepsisters) want her to reclaim her art and her life. This story has given me pause for thought, which is the sign of a great well written book. Yes, it is predictable but along the way changes and revisions from the original story keeps it interesting. Besides, fairytales should always end with a happily ever after.

There have been several modern fairytale series recently, some quite good. Still this has been my favorite and I was sorry to see it end. Since all four women have their friendship back intact and the loves of their lives, it seems to be over. I have a suggestion, let’s move ahead in years and see what the four couples’ children are up too.

The publisher through Net Galley provided a copy.

4 - "Here's to well hung men who are good with their hands." Stars!

Seduced by the Baron, was a pretty enjoyable end, to what has been an absolutely stellar series from Tule Publishing. Every book from the Fairy Tales of New York series has been easy to read, with a great set of recurring characters, a likeable couple and lots of sexy-times thrown in for good measure.

Australia collides with New York in this one, with Faith Sullivan finally getting a chance at her own happily ever after with Beer Brewer, and all-round sexy-surfer Rafael Quartermain. After watching Mercy get together with Seb, Dawn and Finn finally reconnect and Zel and Ty go from frenemies to lovers, Faith had pretty much given up on ever getting her own happily ever after, especially as she is stuck running the family pub; Sullivan’s, while her ailing father buries his head in the sand about important life decisions.

Amy Andrews always manages to work a little light relief into her romances and I liked that about this book, Raf had the patter, and Faith had the comebacks and together their story, albeit a tad predictable towards the end, was still a joy to read.

Tule Publishing have really set the benchmark high on this type of series, and I think the use of different authors for each book keeps things varied and interesting for the reader, there are an awful lot of publishers out there attempting to do the same thing that could definitely take a leaf out of their book, as to how it should be done. I cannot wait for more from them, and this wonderful group of authors in the future. Especially as we still have two Sullivan brothers awaiting their own happily ever after, I really hope one or more of the authors from this series steps back into the world that they have created at some point in the future and gives us their stories, and hopefully many more.

This is a great modern day version of the Cinderella fairy tale by the superb Aussie author Amy Andrews so I just knew I’d love it before I even started to read! As usual with Amy’s stories, it is well written, has a great plot and characters with whom it is easy to empathise and relate.

Like the others in this series, the story concerns four girls who became best friends whilst at boarding school. They are Faith, Dawn, Zelda and Mercedes (better known as Mercy). Together they support each other, together they get into serious bother (getting drunk on stolen communion wine!) that has them punished in a variety of ways that mean they are split up when they are sixteen years old. They do, however, reconnect and each story in this series tells how one of them meets their version of Prince Charming and achieves their ‘lives happily ever after’.

Faith Sullivan was brought up in Brooklyn where her family run a traditional Irish pub called ‘Sully’s’. She went to the boarding school after her mother tragically died and was planning to go to study fine art until her father had a heart attack. She stepped in to keep the pub running and to look after her father but that was years ago. There are no ugly sisters in this story, but she does have four brothers, two of whom are now romantically involved with two of her best friends. This just seems to emphasise her isolation and she’s starting to feel somewhat deflated. Whilst not totally downtrodden, Faith has made choices that leave her at home whilst her brothers can carry on their own lives.

Her three friends have each found their prince but her chance of a happily ever after seems as remote as ever. That is until Mercy sends her friend Raf, a charming, handsome, Aussie ex-surfer who is launching his new ‘Baron lager’ in to see if Sully’s will work with him on this. Rafael Quartermaine is only in town for a month but whilst the weather may be freezing the temperature is certainly rising steeply for Faith and Raf! With her three best friends acting as fairy godmothers, maybe Faith will, like Cinderella, manage to get to the ball and win her own Prince!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley too,
for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Actual rating 3.5

I enjoyed this book much more than the previous one. I connected a lot better with the writing style and I ended up reading it in a matter of hours.

Seduced By The Baron was a quick, well-paced read. I found there was a lot more chemistry between Faith and Raf in this story, and they were easier to engage with. I wanted them to get together and stay together as they were a sweet couple.

Moreover, I thought the story line was well crafted. More seemed to happen in this one and it held my attention well. There were a variety of plot lines and the entire romance was a cute kind of hot.

Overall, I enjoyed this read a lot more. If you want something quick and sweet, you may want to check it out.

This is book four in the Fairy Tales in New York series. The first three have been up and down (mostly down), but book four makes me happy I continued with the series. It is by far my favorite. I liked both characters and they had good chemistry. There were many sweet moments in the story, and I was very glad that there wasn't unnecessary drama between Faith and Raf.

I really enjoyed this finale to the Fairy Tales of New York series! Each story is set up such that it can be read as a standalone, but in this one the three other girls of the four who meet at boarding school (the basis for their connection) have already got their matches and it's just Faith who is left to find the man of her dreams. Unfortunately she's stuck at her family's pub, working late hours, never having made it to college to pursue an art career after her father's failing health resulted in her postponing her own dreams to keep his alive. When Rafael comes to town with his plan to introduce his Australian lager into small Mom and Pop operations around the country, it's good enough for Faith to consider putting it on tap on a trial basis. Having him in her bed on a trial basis too? Even better! But when the end of their limited time engagement comes, will it be so easy to say goodbye?

You can really feel for Faith in this story, wanting to be there for her father and keep his Irish Pub going strong, even at the risk of her own dreams getting left behind. She doesn't begrudge her choice, and just chalks it up to her duty - she's the caregiver in the family, and it isn't until Raf comes into her life and wants to take her out that she realizes how much of her time she has devoted to the family business (and how little to herself). Raf is a sexy, handsome, confidant man - but a commitment-phobe who believes in lighthearted flings but not true love. Though at first she is hesitant, Faith's friends encourage her to have fun with him and indeed she does, leading to some steamy love scenes between her and Raf. But of course, when the deeper emotions come into play, there are serious questions to ask, on both their sides. Faith is prepared for Raf to walk away, but he finds it's not so simple. I loved the two of them together and even though it's not a long story, they both experience some profound revelations in a short time, and learn that falling in love doesn't have to be a fairy tale. 5 stars for this delightful, sexy romance.

In the final book of the series we follow Faith Sullivan and her journey to happily ever after. While her friends moved on to do great things and live their lives after boarding school, Faith stayed behind in the family bar, forgoing Columbia to take care of her father. As her friends and brothers find happiness she is left to feel like she's missing out on life. Enter super great friend Mercy, who points ex-surfer, turned beer baron Rafael Quartermaine in her direction.

Rafael and Faith have instant attraction but Faith is a little slow to really give into it because she's allowed her whole life to revolved around the bar and her father.

The story was engaging and super sweet; the ball scene was just aww. Dawn, Zelda and Mercy (Fairy Tales of New York #1-3) team up to play fairy god-mothers and get Faith to the "ball" where Prince Charming, I mean Rafael waits.

They have their ups and downs, but in the end Faith is able to find her voice and her true love. Rafael was just swoon worthy and the way he goes after Faith, just love. This story was a perfect ending to the series.

Faith has put her dreams behind her to care for her ailing father and run the family owned pub Sully's. She's watched her siblings make a life for themselves and find love among her best friends. She is beginning to feel the loss of her dreams, life catching up to her and is determined to make some changes.

Enter Rafael Quartermaine, ex pro-surfer turned beer baron, who is looking for a bar to test market his brand of beer and Sully's is exactly the kind of place he had in mind. With Rafael comes the opportunity for Faith to break out of her rut and finally experience what life has to offer but the ties that bind suddenly tighten and she is forced to give up her dreams once more, but losing Rafael is more than she bargained for.

Also this is the final book in the series and we finally find out what happened in that convent and who the real culprit was all those years ago.

The Fairy Tales of New York series starts with the same life-changing event in the lives of 4 misfit friends - propelling them into different life trajectories. There is a nod to famous romantic fairy tales but it is subtle and not too domineering in the story. There is a common thread of insta-love/lust that jumpstarts all the relationships but the interwoven stories and well-written characters (main and supporting) do the series justice.

This last one winks with that lost slipper glint of the treasured Cinderella. Faith takes on the responsibility of her families heritage - Sully's Pub even though it isn't what she wanted out of life. Raf comes in and sweeps her off her feet, letting her glimpse a different world away from the constant family pressure. But reality comes crashing in during their magical night and she flees their idyllic romance leaving behind an earring. Prince Raf comes back with said earring after enough time for Faith to make a few realizations about what she has, wants and what is possible. Cute.

A great ending to an amazing series.

Seduced by the Baron is book #4 in the Fairy Tales of New York and it was an amazing ending to a great series.

Faith Sullivan dream was being a famous painter who lived in an apartment overlooking Central Park but life had other ideas and at the age of 26 she’s still running, working and living at Sully’s, her family’s traditional Irish pub in Brooklyn and she is happy with her life but when one by one her best friends find their prince charming she is sure that her chance of her own happily ever after seemed like another dream lost. Until one day a long, tall Australian walks into her bar and her loved-up besties decided to play Fairy Godmothers.

Ex pro-surfer turned beer baron, Rafael Quartermaine is in New York for a month on business. He’s looking for a pub to launch Baron lager on the American market and Sully’s is perfect if he'll convince Faith, the traditionalist, to say yes.

As soon as Faith and Rafael first see one another the sparks fly and the attraction between them is out of this world but can they have a real and lasting relationship or will be just a short fling?

Faith is trying to make a few changes in her life and see if she can still make her long lost dream of being a painter real and Rafael is trying to make Baron lager a US success.

I loved reading about Faith and Rafael and how they were trying to find a way to be together and still not let their feelings come in the way of business.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Adorable ending to the series and a hot Australian to boot. I'm glad Faith finally cut the apron strings and that her brothers stepped up after so many years. Also, I really want to see that wine label because I can picture it in my head and I would drink any wine in that bottle. And Raf? Sexy name, sexy guy. All around a good deal with a Cinderella-esque twist.

Faith had a dream of being a painter and living in NYC. Instead of fulfilling her dream she was running her family bar when her father JP had a heart attack Eight years later she is still looking after her dad and the bar. Then an Australian ex surfer Raf is in NYC to promote his lager. Raf is very attracted to Faith and her to him but she had too many to give him the time he is used to getting from a woman he is interested in. Faith also sees Raf as a player. But Raf respected Faith and her responsibilities. Raf wants Faith to go to his ball on St. Patricks day. But Faith won’t leave Sully’s [ her family’s bar] and her family. Her friends find out and push her into going. Her best friend from boarding school had found the loves of their lives [ 2 being 2 of Faith’s brothers] but now they want Faith to have her chance. Another good retell of Cinderella just no evil stepmother or stepsisters so that takes a little bit from the story but not that much.Just plenty of [4] brothers. I thought it was sweet two of her three friends fell for two of her brothers. I was happy when faith met Raf even though at first she was very cautious. I loved the characters especially Faith and all the ins and outs she went through. Also Raf was a good character. I recommend.
