This is the second in the Eddie Doughtery series, but unfortunately the first one I've read. I will however make sure to get me book 1!. The plot is set against the background of 1972, a city preparing for sports, and our hero, Constable Eddie has to deal with the deal of people in a nightclub, a museam robbery and a body discovered. Eddie is still a rookie in many ways, and has to show his worth to everyone. I could identify with him as character as all of us have had to be the new guy, still proving himself, and I felt sorry for him. Awesome read, thanks Netgalley for the opportunity!
