This is a cute book made up of a series of poems all having to do with family members in some way. There is a poem about grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, mom, dad, siblings and others. The illustrations are simple but cute and fit the poems. There is a list at the end of the book with 30 words that fit the theme and are in the book. A cute book to teach about family members, relationships and to work with beginning readers. This is a series of books (Patchwork) that teaches a variety of concepts and vocabulary. There is a letter to caregivers at the beginning of the book giving some examples of how parents can use the book with their children.
