Do you believe in another world? If so this is a book for you. Two people have found each other after being apart for many ages. Brook is about to start over but she is still afraid that her husband will find her but she has a protector and she is about to find out more about the rude man Arwan that she met coming into town. Their paths have met before but Brook still needs to remember. Can Arwan help her or will she run from him. A great story that has many twists and turns. I really enjoyed it

The One by Annaliese Plowright is a pleasant dark fairytale with the scenery of contemporary Scotland. I found myself unable to put this book down once I started reading. Couldn’t get enough of this story. I really, really loved it!

Well written, great character development, amazing plot. Even though this was an ARC from the Publisher, I already purchased Into The Dark (The One Saga - Book 2), be sure I’ll be giving you my insight as well. What an Amazing series and what a way to make a great debut as a writer. I may be wrong, but for what I can see, this was her first book.

Looking forward to more from this author and this fascinating series!

What starts out as a typical woman in peril story, quickly captured my attention to the subtle under currents of a totally different story then originally thought.

I thoroughly enjoyed how the author's subtleties in story telling and weaving, intertwined the background story to continue to capture the reader's attention to want to know more, but not in a frustrating way. Always in the background, I felt so very motivated to keep reading so that I could discover the mysteries that surrounded Arwan, and how he and Brook were tied together. I'm looking forward to continue the series to find out more about the new life that awaits Arwan and Brook.
