Description
Discover Secrets You’ve Never Imagined
Possible in a New Novel by W. David Smith
W. David Smith entered the nuclear industry at its height of activity in the ‘60s as a publications editor at Hanford, Washington. He returned to graduate school at the University of Iowa two years later, where he studied literature and art history while beginning a long and diverse career in university advancement. The recipient of numerous awards for writing and design, he is author of two collections of poetry: Above the Mountain and Passage Through the Rockies.
Now We Have Secrets is his first novel. It grew out of coming of age in the ‘60s and seeing up close the nuclear industry in the midst of the Cold War. Today's world destroys secrets even as it creates new ones through technology, threats to society, and the rush of innovation. Secrets have the power to determine our very being, whether they are fantasy or true, are held or revealed. This novel’s discoveries are extraordinary revelations about individuals, relationships, and a generation.
The author lives in Utah and Washington State.
