Bub the cat is lazy. Fantastically lazy. And because of this, he finds himself in three predicaments. Whether it's fighting thieves that break into a pharaohs's tomb, or battling mean pirates on the open water, or even help heal a dragon's stomachache, Bub finds a way to get himself out of these situations. The funny thing is, he does so by doing...nothing! Bub is too lazy to even do anything, but by doing nothing he is heralded as a hero!
This book is funny and kids will love it. Bub is a loveable protagonist that just wants to do nothing. By the end of the book, kids will be rooting for Bub and wondering how he's going to get out of this one. The author does a great job making Bub's laziness charming and allowing a chain of events to lead to a conclusion.
