Description
Elsie Wembley has never suffered boredom gladly. Oldest of three—and second in line to the throne—she knows Carby like the back of her hand, always staying only one step ahead of trouble.
When Elsie meets button-down Laurence Flynn, however, it seems she may finally have found someone to keep her out of it for good—at least until his secrets catch up to them.

I was a bit confused starting this book I couldn't tell where the story was based if it was set in a realistic world that we know like England/Scotland etc. This books was a fine read I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it.
I liked the main character I think she was strong and very smart and stood for what she believed in and didn't let anyone bully her. She was very well written. Her love interest bugged me though its like he was dragged into loving her and even though he's like "I can't say no to you" it doesn't even seem like he enjoys it when he's around her even from his point of view so I didn't really buy the love there. I think she had a better friendship with her cousin.
The world was a weird mix of modern ideals with old fashion it was like a mix of this fantasy version of reality being combine. I think if this story catches your eye or interests you in anyway you would enjoy it
