Description
Fashion student Lacey Weston is desperate to leave the city and go home to Jumbuck Springs. Her three older brothers are adamant she’s not. They made a death bed promise to their mother that Lacey would stay the distance at design school and Ethan, the oldest, takes this responsibility very seriously. But Lacey is deeply homesick and determined not to be dissuaded again. She’s also impulsive enough to try anything – even faking a pregnancy.
Ex-cop turned mechanic, Cooper Grainger – one of Ethan’s oldest friends – agrees to watch out for Lacey in the city even though he has a history with her he’d rather forget. How hard could it be, right? But a couple of years later, Coop is over pulling Lacey out of scrapes and cleaning up her messes as she tries to outrun her grief and sense of dislocation. He takes her back to Jumbuck Springs so she can persuade her brothers to let her come home. But things don’t go according to plan. Before Coop knows it Lacey’s pregnant and he’s putting his hand up as the fake baby daddy, filling in for the town mechanic and moving in with her at the local pub.
Lacey is thrilled to have won a reprieve but nothing about the situation sits well with Coop. Least of all having sweet little Lacey Weston as his new roomie…

For Lacey the last couple years of her life has been full of upheaval. The loss of her mother when she needs her most has left her spiraling out of control. Her emotions are all over the place, her decisions are proving risking and the people she is supposed to be apple to count on have turned that back on her. In her mind she is on her own. Coop sees a kindred spirit in the tortured young woman with the bad attitude. He has been dealing with a number of crisis in his own life. Lacey brings out his protective instincts. Among other things. A lost of control, a surprise revelation and the differences in their ages are obstacles he can't ignore. Facing fears, coping with loss and growing up are all explored within this novel. I received an ARC of Some Girls Do by Amy Andrews in exchange for an honest review. What I took from this story is change whether good or bad is an inevitable learning experience.
As a whole, I liked the story. Lacey is young and impatient and challenges her family at every turn while also grieving with the loss of her mother, and trying to find her fit in the world. She meets Cooper and sparks fly. But so too does the tangled web of deceits. Cooper is often the buffer for Lacey and the swooning starts with his every rescue :) Drama throughout the read and tension skyrockets.
The transformation of Lacey's character was written well, with a finale not to be missed. Likeable characters throughout the read and the rest of the Weston menfolk - Ethan, Marcus and Jarrod add their special mix to the story. A solid start to the Outback Heat Romance series.

I loved this book. It offers an interesting twist on a romance. Lacey and Cooper meet one night in a bar and have scorching chemistry that leads to a one night stand that neither of them can forget. Then, Cooper learns that she's his ex-partner's sister. Friends don't chase their friends' sisters, especially when they've been tasked with watching over them in the city.
This could have followed a familiar plot line, but the author changed it up and added lots of interesting twists and color to the story. This makes is well worth reading and truly enjoyable romance.
This is a new author to me and I already can't wait for the next book in the series. While part of a series, it is a stand alone book. I have added the author to my must read authors' list.
Great book! it looks like its going to be a fantastic series. I would have loved to have seen more of the main characters as a couple and see them actually in a relationship. Also the ending seemed a little to abrupt for me but as this is a series i hope to see what happens to these characters in the next book.
This is an emotive romance and a great read which I really enjoyed! As a romance it obviously has two core characters but it also has a plethora of additional ones who are introduced, developed and play important roles in this and, according to the author’s introduction, in future books in this series. These include some fantastic residents in the small outback community where most of the story is set. The story explores aspects of coping with grief, familial responsibilities, friendship and community without being morbid in any way. The dying wish of a mother, enforced by her sons, is having a negative impact on her only daughter, Lacey Weston, who struggles to cope with her grief as they send her away from family and friends to study fashion. She’s only nineteen and away from her support network, struggling to cope. That’s when she first encounters Cooper Grainger, she claims she’s twenty four and called Tracy – things get hot between them pretty quickly and they have a night to remember!
Cooper Grainger is an ex-cop who had been shot and seriously injured whilst on duty and is now working in his family’s vehicle repair workshop, gaining a great reputation for restoring classic vehicles. His old partner and best friend when a police officer was Ethan, Lacey’s brother. Neither knew that when they first met and they don’t let on to Ethan they had already met when Ethan asks Cooper to look after his little sister. Coop is determined to keep his hands off her now but keeps coming to her rescue until finally she’s had enough and is determined to go home again. That’s when everything starts hitting fans everywhere! With more lies, misunderstanding, close encounters, fantastic opportunities and love there’s nothing straight forward about how this story progresses!
Like a great, fast paced roller coaster ride this story has more ups, downs, twists and turns than ever. Whilst the relationship between the main characters is hot, I am pleased to say this is expertly written, tasteful, leaving some aspects to the reader’s imagination rather than as blatant erotica. The story is a totally engaging and entertaining read from start to fantastic finish – I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for this, an honest review.
Loved it! Amy Andrews brings us another superb story. This one is filled with some amazing characters and I can't wait to read their stories too. Lacey and Cooper meet in a bar and have an amazing night together. Imagine their surprise when they find out she's his best friends sister! Adding to the crazy is the fact that she is much younger than the 24 she told Cooper and his friend is asking him to keep an eye on her while she's attending design school in Brisbane. After a terrible breakup Lacey decides it's time to return home and asks Cooper to help her. If Cooper thought their past was crazy, wait until he sees what his future holds!!!
I definitely recommend everyone grab a copy of this one.
When a lie gets blown out of proportion, could anything good possibly come out of it?
Lacey Weston had her reasons for wanting to leave Brisbane where she was attending design school and go back home to Jumbuck Springs. But when she got home, her brothers wanted her to turn around and go right back.
Cooper Grainger used to be Lacey's bother Ethan's partner and he was asked to keep an eye on Lacey while she was away from home and in school. She might need someone's help and her brothers wouldn't be there for her. When Lacey comes to him the night after she breaks up with her boyfriend and says she wants to go home, Coop takes her.
Coop didn't plan on getting caught up in the middle of a family mess, but when he saw them gang up on Lacey, he had to step in. Lacey had lied about being pregnant so her brothers would let her stay home. When they demanded to know who the father was, Coop said it was him to put an end to the discussion and so they would leave Lacey alone.
Lacey quickly becomes popular in her home town after she reconstructs a damaged wedding gown for a friend and the story makes it in a magazine. When dream job is presented to Lacey, she can't say no, even if it means leaving her home town and Coop behind and moving to Melbourne. She has to tell her brothers the truth about not being pregnant so she can take on this new job. But what will happen to the relationship Lacey and Coop have started during the time they have been living together?
Sometimes you have to let go of who you love so they can be all they are meant to be.
This steamy story is one not to be missed. Lacey and Coop were meant to be together even though Coop was a lot older than Lacey. The passion they shared was intense. I can't wait to read the next books in this series.
If Some Girls Do is any indication, this entire series is going to be fantastic. Lacey and Coop’s story caught my attention from the very start and held it captive until the final word.
Usually right here I’d be giving you an additional tease of the story, but really that story description gives you just enough to give you a really good idea of what this story is all about. One stubborn woman, one sexy, dependable man and a cast of characters that you would probably find in your own neighborhood or small town. Really.
I found the development of Lacey and Coop’s relationship to be so sweet and sexy at the same time. It felt real, I really didn’t have to stretch my imagination at all. When I can just fall into the story without thinking about it, that’s golden to me.
I’m looking forward to Lacey’s brothers having their own stories. Plus, with this type of series the secondary characters are usually so much fun. I love secondary characters, they can make or break the believability of a story. But these guys aren’t going to stay second in line for long, so I’ll be watching to read how their ladies tame them. :)
Very simply, an enjoyable story, a charming couple and a small town full of interesting people. It’s a win all around. I would recommend Some Girls Do for anyone who enjoys a really good story. If you enjoy series, this one is going to be well worth following.
*I received an e-ARC of Some Girls Do from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

I really enjoyed Some Girls Do.
The storyline was entertaining and it captured my interest from the first page, I didn't want to put my kindle down. The characters were likable and very relatable. I loved the chemistry between Cooper and Lacey. They were perfect for each other.
Great start to the Outback Heat series, looking forward to reading the next book.
Overall if you're looking for a heartwarming and entertaining read with characters that will touch your heart you'll love Some Girls Do.
Thank you Tule Publishing via Netgalley for the advance copy.
Some Girls Do is the first book in the Outback Heat series about four siblings from Jumbuck Springs, Australia from bestselling author Amy Andrews. This series starter has the youngest and only girl in the Weston brood, Lacey, falling for her oldest brother's best friend, Cooper Grainger. This was an entertaining take on the falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling trope, especially with the age difference being the widest gap I've come across in recent memory. There were moments that I couldn't but think that Lacey was being rather selfish and reckless, not taking into consideration the consequences of her actions, especially since poor Coop ended up swooping in and saving her on more than one occasion. Of course, the fact that she's only twenty-one plays a part in her lack of maturity, but she does grow on you.
Aside from Coop and Lacey's love story, the book introduces readers to the rest of the Weston family: Ethan, Marcus, and Jarrod. I know that Ethan's the oldest and Lacey's the youngest, but I'm not sure whose older between Marcus and Jarrod. Among the three brothers, Ethan was easily the most memorable one because of his connection to Coop. It's pretty clear that there's something simmering between him and his close friend Jemima Jane "JJ" Ericson, so I'm definitely looking forward to reading their story, which is slated to be the fourth and final release in the series. This is shaping up to be a fun series, especially with the siblings having seemingly very different personalities, and thankfully, we don't have long to wait for the next three releases! Thank you, Tule Publishing! Some Girls Do gets four stars. ♥
Fashion student Lacey Weston and Ex-cop turned mechanic Cooper Grainger meet at a bar and spend the night together. A week later Coop and Lacey's elder brother meet at the same bar and Ethan asks Coop to look after Lacey. Lacey is homesick for Hometown Jumbuck Springs and wants to move back. One thing leads to another and she lies that she's pregnant and Coop supports her saying he's the father of the fake baby. This book had some fun twists and turns. The chemistry between Lace and Coop was hot. It was an enjoyable and smooth read. Looking forward to the next installment in the series.

I really liked this one! Deception takes center stage between the hero and the heroine and a lie they tell to the rest of the world. From that point on, the story really picks up and holds the reader's interest. This is an author to keep your eye on.
Amy Andrews' new Outback Heat series had me hooked before I even opened the first book. I remember singing my heart out to Racy and the song "Some Girls Do", so when I saw the four book titles I knew right away that these books were going to be a lot of fun, a lot of heat, and oh so readable. This is such a country Aussie book and I love that about it. The language throughout the book is just right for the setting, though if you're not Australian you might struggle with it, though contextually it all fits perfectly with the setting.
There is also a lot of sex in Some Girls Do, and lots of fairly explicit fantasising about sex but I thought it was appropriate for the tone of the book and it was well written throughout.
Some Girls Do is the first in the series and tells the story of Lacey Weston and her oldest brother's best friend Cooper Grainger. There's a thirteen year age gap between the two, something that Lacey is conscious about even before she knows the link between Cooper and her brother Ethan. She introduces herself to Cooper and blithely adds five years to her actual age, having determined that she doesn't have a prayer of seducing him if he knows she's only nineteen. Coop is more than delighted when he spots Lacey eyeing him off in the bar and is pretty keen to pursue the down and dirty as quickly as he can manage. They spend a torrid night together and it is only a week later that he finds out the truth. I liked the way Lacey developed from a fairly insecure girl early in the book to one who was confident about her worth as a designer and as a person later when she was back in Jumbuck Creek. I also liked Coop, who was loyal, fair and level headed throughout. The plot kept me guessing, while the use of Aussie slang such as "cop a perve" had me smiling. All in all this was a great book to read and I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.
Amy Andrews' first book in her Outback Heat series was an easy enjoyable read. Having read several books from her, I have to confess I was expecting a little more steam sooner, but it mattered not as she holds the story together with a likeable cast of characters in a lovely Aussie outback setting.
"Guys do not sleep with their friends' sisters."
The older brother's best-friend trope is one that forms a staple in my reading diet but the thirteen-year age gap between Cooper and Lacey made this a little different. Grumpy, brooding, sexy and a bit of a knight in shining armour, I liked Coop. Lacey was frustrating with her snap, immature decisions, and I confess she took a little warming to, but she's young, flighty and has three protective older brothers to contend with so she can be forgiven.
"How about you take me home to bed and you can call the shots."
With a good chemistry, this couple fought their feelings but when they do give in they are sexy together. And with Lacey's three older, single brothers featuring throughout, I'm looking forward to seeing where Amy takes the series. 3.5 stars.
A super hot and fun romance novella. Gotta love a best friend's younger sister romance, it is such a great romantic troupe.
Some Girls Do is the first in a new series and I really enjoyed this book! Cooper and Lacey meet in a bar and end up having a one night stand. She disappears and he is disappointed because he has no contact information for her and he feels like she may be the "one". The next week they meet again it is under totally different circumstances. Coop realizes that he has slept with his ex-partner's 19 year old sister - the one his partner wants him to watch over while she is in design school. A year and a half later, Lacey is standing on Coop's doorstep and he finds himself offering to help her out. Coop is one of those really good guys that you can't help but love. He is sexy as sin but the best thing is that he is one of those selfless people will do anything for a friend without thinking about how it will ultimately affect him. Liking Lacey didn't come easy for me. At first she seemed a bit spoiled and bratty. As the story went along you saw how events in her life and the fact that she felt abandoned by her brothers affected her. She ultimately ended up convincing Coop to take her home and agree to stand up to her brothers with her. Once there Lacey tells a bit of a lie and the story spirals out of control but through it all Coop has her back. Lacey is happy to be home and Coop is happy to watch her be herself in her small town that she loves. Lacey sees what a great guy Coop is but the fact that he initially won't give in to his attraction to her drives her a little nuts. They both had strong feelings for each other but Coop knew that because she was so much younger there would come a time he would have to let her live her dreams and that showed his true character. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it. It held my interest the whole way through and Coop has a place on my book boyfriend list:)
Some Girls Do by Amy Andrews was a delightful and fantastic story and one of the things I loved most was that this author didn’t Americanize her very Australian characters or the story too much thus giving me the opportunity to learn even more fun and colorful Aussie language. This book takes place mostly in the outback with a few chapters in a couple of the larger cities in Australia. As the first book in a series we are introduced to a whole lot of characters but we never lost focus of the main characters or their crazy plight. This book was extremely entertaining, fun to read and sexy as all get out but it also had heart and I very much enjoyed reading it.
Cooper and Lacey meet and have one really explosive night and she disappears leaving him somewhat disappointed until a week later when they meet again under different circumstances and he realizes he slept with his ex-partner and friend’s much younger and just barely legal sister who he was just coerced into “watching after” while she’s in town at design school. A year and a half later, Coop finds himself once again under Lacey’s spell for a completely different reason and their life becomes one complication after the other.
Cooper is one of those really good guy heroes that I simply can’t get enough of. Oh he’s sexy as hell and he knows his way around the bedroom, but he’s also someone who will do anything for a friend despite how it affects him. The fact that he has never gotten over his one night with Lacey puts him at a big disadvantage because he really is ready to go the extra mile to help her in any way.
At first I really wasn’t sure about Lacey and while I didn’t hate her I didn’t love her either, but she seriously grew on me as the book went on. I began to understand how devastated her mother’s death was to her and what she perceived as her brothers abandoning her. She acted out and did things like pick up strange men in bars (like Coop) and when she realized she had really messed up her life she asked Coop to take her home and to have her back when she told her family she was there to stay for awhile, she just had no idea how much her move would affect him. The thing is once she was home, I think we really began to see the true Lacey and she wasn’t all that different from Cooper; she was happy to pitch in and help others and loved being a part of her small community again.
For a good part of this story these two spent a lot of time together but not time as a couple but during that time they got to know one another a little better. Lacey saw what a great guy Cooper was and while he drove her crazy by not giving in to his attraction for her; she admired the fact that he was an honorable guy. Cooper watched Lacey blossom into a confidant woman and one who was finally happy and settled. Their admiration for each other grew by leaps and bounds and that eventually spilled over into some hot and sexy times. While it was evident they both had pretty strong feelings for each other Cooper also knew that because she was so much younger there would come a time he would have to let her live her dreams and that really spoke of his character.
I loved these two together from the start and I enjoyed watching them through the roller coaster ride of their time together including the very happy ending for both of them. Fun, enticing and sensual you don’t want to miss Some Girls Do, the first story in Amy Andrews Outback Heat series.
ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.
When Lacey hooks her brothers best friend in to being her fake baby daddy neither one of them are prepared for the rekindled chemistry to ignite.
Cooper would have never touched Lacey two years ago if he knew that she was his friend's little sister. So why in the world did he come to her defense and pretend to be her baby daddy and why did he let her continue her lie. This one little white lie makes him uproot his life and be her live in boyfriend for the next couple of weeks. Unbeknownst to him somewhere along the way the pretend starts to become real and soon the feeling grow into more than either of them ever imagines. That is until real life starts to catch up and send them on different tracks.
The age old saying is true that sometimes you have to let something go in order for it to come back to you. This book is the perfect example that to find love you have to lose it. Watching these two reconnect was fun. Lacey was witty and made this book so much more enjoyable. She knew who she was and made dam sure that Cooper that. This book has loads of laughs and plenty of steamy scenes that leave you breathless. This is definitely not a book to miss and I look forward to Lacey's brother's falling in love in the next book.
Some Girls Do is a story of forbidden love and finding home, both in location and in a person. Lacy and Cooper first meet as a hot and satisfying one night stand in a bar in Melbourne. Not having any idea who the other person is, the find out quickly they already had a connection. Cooper is best friends with Lacy's older brother. So, not only is there a ten-year age difference between the two, Cooper now feels Lacy is completely off limits.
Fast forward a few years, the pair are still living in Melbourne, far away from Lacy's hometown of Jumbuck Springs. In the author's note, Andrews tells us non-Aussies that "jumbuck" is a word for sheep. So the vibe one gets of Jumbuck Springs is that it's small and rural, but not so far from big cities that there's a feeling of isolation. Lacy longs to go home, but due to a deathbed promise her brothers made to her mother, she is stuck in Melbourne finishing fashion school.
Well, at the beginning of our novel, Lacy has had enough of the big city and longs to spend a bit of time at home. She concocts a harebrained scheme, enlists Cooper's help and off they go. And that is where the novel takes off.
I found this one delightful, y'all. Lacy and Cooper's relationship is solid but also flirty and watching them dance around each other for a bit was lovely. I adored getting to know the town and, with three other Jumbuck Springs novels on the way, am excited to get to know each of the brother's and their worlds better in turn.
This one is recommended for fans of small town romances, sprawling families who bicker because they love and people being very good at their jobs (which both Lacy and Cooper are. I call that 'competence porn' and I adore it). No trigger warnings in this one, just a delightful story with hot sex when they finally get around to it.
I receive an ARC from netgalley for an honest review. Good story, love reading this. The characters are good and sexy. I will enjoy this serie. Cant wait for the rest of the Westons stories.
So this was quite a funfilled and lighthearted romance about a young woman and her brother's BFF. Its a small town romance that's quite charming and reminded me so much of my time in Australia that it just made me smile a lot. Lacey's character is definitely going to look whiny and spoiled but the author makes a reader understands why she behaves this way. She is young, talented and just a small town girl at heart. Coop has his own issues mainly, the bro code (which is totally ridiculous ) but the age gap is also his concern. It makes sense that the gap isn't just about numbers but also experience and opportunity. For a short book the characters multilayered personalities and the almost straightforward but never simple plot line gives a great romance about what really matters in the end. Looking forward to the next books.
Firstly thank you to Tule publishing for approving me for a review copy of this title via Netgalley.
This is the first title I’ve read by Amy Andrews and is also the first in her Outback Heat series. Some Girls Do is about Lacey and Cooper. The story is dual POV which is fortunate because it’s a short read and you need to quickly grasp how each character feels about the other and the situation Lacey puts them in. Cooper is tasked with looking out for Lacey and is determined to do right by his friend, and Lacey’s big brother, despite one, teeny tiny hot night in their past. I like how the introduction to the story, and to both characters, sets the scene for the chemistry and sexual tension you can expect throughout the rest of the story. Coop’s determination to abstain from revisiting their history is futile as you know it’s eventually going to happen between them. Lacey’s character is at times impulsive (case in point – fake pregnancy) and immature throughout the story. It’s much easier to take a liking to Cooper than it is to Lacey. Further into the story you being to appreciate more about Lacey’s past and why she acts out the way she does. No prizes for where this story goes but it is a good, easy read. I will be looking to read the rest of this series after enjoying this opener.
Put one misleading college female, a former male police officer and three over protective brothers in the hands of Amy Andrews and you have one terrific read. Some Girls Do (Outback Heat Book 1) is just that. This series looks to be about the Weston siblings with the one little sister, Lacey getting her HEA first. I enjoyed the family, the outback and the unique turns in the plot.
The two main characters, Lacey and Cooper are well matched with sizzling chemistry despite their age difference. Then the storyline has enough twist that even with the best friend’s little sister plot that it is unpredictable. It is worth the read to see what Lacey is up to next in her quest; not a girl to stand for being bossed around for long. Can’t wait for each of her brothers to have their own story, especially Ethan.
4.5 Stars
Sometimes you really can’t help who you fall in love with even when there is a 8 year age gap, well at least this is what Cooper tells himself till he finds out who the person is and how old she really is. Cooper has been through a lot and he is glad and lucky to be alive. He is ready to have a family, but when he asked to look out for his best friends little sister it starts to feel more like a full time job instead of a friend helping a friend. When she shows up at his door one night he doesn’t see whats about to happen but he knows he has to be all in or not. Lacey is forced to go to University and she is not happy about it so she will be more than happy to cause a ruckus and piss her brothers off. When she has the greatest night of her life and knows that will be the last time that will ever happen and two years later her world comes crashing down and she comes up with a plan to go home weather her brothers like it or not all she needs to do it convince Cooper to help her.
This book was really good book book the story is well written and its perfect for anyone not looking for your typical romance story. This story has some fun twist and turns and feisty female who knows she can't always hold her own but she sure is going to make a hell of try doing it. You really can't go wrong with the fun book.
This is the first book of a 4 part series involving the very lovable Weston family of Jumbuck Springs in the rural outback of Australia. Book 1 is all about baby sister Lacey and her desire to go back to Jumbuck Springs after her caring but clueless older brothers send her off to the city and design school right after their mother's death.
Her oldest brother, Ethan, asks one of his old police buddies, Cooper, to keep an eye out on Lacey since she was all alone in the big city. Well, Lacey may be young but she knows what she wants and goes after it. And what she wants is Cooper. But she also wants to go back to Jumbuck Springs so she can grieve in her own way. She finds a way to talk Cooper into taking her back to Jumbuck Springs. Once back in Jumbuck Springs, Lacey shocks her brothers by telling them is she pregnant since that is a way that they will let her stay in Jumbuck Springs. But is she really?
A wonderful introduction to this very well written series and the town of Jumbuck Springs and Australia.
Great start to a fun series! If you love small town romances, don't miss this one. Looking forward to more books from this author!
Amy Andrews has been a favourite author of mine for a while now, i always no whatever book she brings out will be beautiful written we will have a great romance to follow and characters too fall deeply in love with. and yes she did it again with this beautiful story it is a page turner,
Lacy Weston is a sister a younger sister with three older and over protective brothers who made a promise to their dying mother on her death bed that she would go to fashion college to be a designer. Her biggest problem is that she feels that no one listens to her, that she has no voice. Before she starts college she goes to a bar all dressed up and goes by the name of Tracy. She is having a great time when she meets Cooper Grainger, she tell him that it is her birth day and she is turning 24, not her real age of 19. He is 32 so to him it is no big deal. They have a good night and then he takes her to his place. The next morning she feels great but knows that for her this is only a one time deal so she leaves. He is wondering where she ran off to, but lo and behold his question is answered. When his best friend and former partner, Cooper was a cop but retired because he was shot twice. Now his friend Ethan is in town to ask him to do a favor and watch his sister while she is going to college because she will be two hours away from home. You guessed it in walks not Tracey, but Lacey, and she looks nothing like she did the other night and she is not 24, but 19. He holds together his surprise until after her brother leaves and for the next two years gets her out of jams, and fixes her car. He owns a shop that restores cars and is making a decent living. Then she shows up at his door step at 2:00am and explains her problem with the man she was dating, and just finding out he is married by his wife. She explains to him that she wants to leave school for a while and go back to her home town and would he drive her in the morning. He agrees and when they arrive they eat with her family and then the fireworks begin when she tells them that she wants to take time off from school. Not really having a plan when one of her brothers’ mentions is she pregnant she says yes and after yelling at her about who the father is Cooper says it is him. Well after he gets up off the floor from being punched he finds himself staying with her in town for a month and running someone else’s garage. When they are alone he also finds out that she is not pregnant. I think he likes that she drives him crazy, but he does not tell her, just like he does not tells her he is in love with her so she can leave for a job. This is a fun story with a lot of funny parts. Read the book to see if they get back together. A good book.
