Her Magic Will Get Under Your Skin
Her Story Will Fill Your Imagination
Dakota Frost's Enthralling Saga Begins . . .
In an alternate Atlanta where magic is practiced openly, where witches sip coffee at local cafes, shapeshifters party at urban clubs, vampires rule the southern night like gangsters, and mysterious creatures command dark caverns beneath the city, Dakota Frost's talents are coveted by all. She's the best magical tattooist in the southeast, a Skindancer, able to bring her amazing tats to life.
When a serial killer begins stalking Atlanta's tattooed elite, the police and the Feds seek Dakota's help. Can she find the killer on the dark fringe of the city's Edgeworld? Among its powerful outcasts and tortured loners, what kind of enemies and allies will she attract? Will they see her as an invader, as a seducer, as an unexpected champion . . . or as delicious prey?

"This is a SUPERB Urban Fantasy/paranormal amateur sleuth mystery start of a series!!!
Five 'more soonest please' sparkly diamonds..... " Vixen's Daily Reads
". . . an exciting Urban Fantasy that starts off strong and keeps up the steam throughout. Anthony Francis has created an interesting take on the usual paranormal world incorporating magic and mysticism into a dangerous world where both humans and paranormals live side by side. This is certainly a series I will keep up with.

Thank you to the powers- that-be for the opportunity to be one of the first readers captivated by Dakota Frost and her magical tats. Addictive, sassy, sexy, funny, intense, brilliant..... any and all of these adjectives describe not only the book itself but Anthony Francis' tall, bi-sexual, tattoo- specialist heroine who not only inks her magical "Frost Bites" to the paying customers but has the artistry to do her work with a brilliance no one else can duplicate. - BITTEN BY BOOKS
Frost Moon is a wonderful book, and Anthony Francis is a great addition to the Urban Fantasy genre. SMEXY BOOKS.COM

I’ll start by saying this; I enjoyed the idea of the book from the start. Magical tattoo artist is an interesting idea and was lots of fun.
Dakota frost is a tattoo artist that has a gift for binding magic into her clients' skin along with the ink. It’s not a common trade in this version of our world, and it was enough of a diverse concept to get me interested and invested in this novel. Plus the author’s way of describing the artwork is very nice considering that I normally tend to skip over these details. But he held my focus by balancing out how much detail he gave.
The characters in this novel are fun, especially our main character Dakota. She isn't a super vampire-slaying badass, but she does wear enough midriff-baring leather, that matches the cover of the novel, which I enjoyed. I thought the world building was creative though
I could have done without the street-by-street tour of Atlanta, it probably has more significance for someone who knows the city but I didn't find it relevant. There is plenty of interesting variety in the population though, vampires, weres of all descriptions, magicians, and witches to name just a few.
The story is light, but fun. There is some playful tongue-in-cheek humor. If you are looking for a story with a magical element, thrill seeking, and just a hint of danger, this will be a quick and fun read.
Excellent urban fantasy. A great mix of elements, fun and interesting characters, ok mystery.
I found I liked the concept of Frost Moon, but it needed a bit more polish in my unprofessional opinion, and some more editing would have been good as well.
Dakota Frost is a tattoo artist, not the normal one hers are magical she is also a Skindancer. She tattoed herself and her body tats move on her. Dakota is asked by her Uncle Rand to help find a serial killer who is killing magical tattoo artists and stealing tats some before the person is dead. Dakota gets many clients one is a werewolf named Wulf who wants a spell tat that will help him control his Wolf at the time of the full moon. Its a Nazi symbol so Dakota wants it checked out because it may be harmful to him. She is very careful about her art. Wulf has a lot of mystery about himself and this causes him to be a suspect when people start to die. Dakota also ends up with a challenge from a wizard who she admires . She goes to many lengths to help find the serial killer before he kills others or herself. Dakota also seeks protection from Vampires but they can only do so much . Her friends and herself end up in danger and a surprise person ends up saving her in the end. She does manage to defeat the serial killer with her magic even though he might be working for someone else. She meets a were tiger she saves and ends up adopting her. Seems like things are happy in the end.
This story was really good . I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Knowing it was fantasy the way it was written I could actually see the tats flying around the room. It had all the things I enjoy in a story. Took me until Chapter 41 to figure out who the killer was but I like a good mystery. I kept wondering why Frost Moon? Thanks so much for explaining that. I will definitely look forward to more . I hear there may be a lot more I can't wait.
