Nice sequel to the first Peace Cottage. I liie the story, but quesitoned all that the 7 year old was capable of. I must have had a very slow child. Overlooking that, it was a nice feel good stry.

I positively adore this series. I only hope that we have at least 3 more books with the girls' stories. Lucy is a wonderful woman and she takes on the responsibility of fostering a young girl, Evangeline, whose mother is committed to a hospital for mental illness. Lucy has been through so much, the loss of her husband Sam and the death of friend and lover, Luke. She can't believe she might have another chance at happiness with her lawyer, Jim. With Sassy and Delia finished with college and working she is happy to have Evangeline in her life and have the healing effect of Peace Cottage bring her happiness. I love Lisa Kent's books and rate her right up there with Debbie Macomber . Love this series and hope for more.
