They say there's a fine line between lust and hate and with book three in the Gamers series, Owen and Chad show us just how fun and hot crossing that line can be.
This book was a pure joy to read. I can’t express how much I loved these two characters and their story. I fell hard and fast for Owen and Chad. I can’t remember that last time I laughed so hard one minute only to be fanning myself the next. This no doubt one of my favourite books of the year. I just finished it and want to dive back in again.
“Chad hadn’t realized he had a nerd kink. Or a bow tie kink. But he did.”
For their first foray into the MM genre, the Brazen line brought out their best in Megan Erickson, who delivers a steamy read that is totally worthy of the Brazen logo. These two will heat up your ereader and leave you laughing all the way.
“Owen’s gaze dropped to Chad’s lap then back up to his face. He smiled then, big and wicked and maybe a little unhinged. And then he lunged.”
Chad and Owen are so good together and watching them fall was so much fun. Who knew that behind the nerdy surface was a dirty talker who certainly knows how to use his tongue in Owen and that the carefree Chad was finally ready for more and found it where he least expected it.
The banter between Chad and Owen will leave you in stiches and the chemistry is so hot you’re your ereader may over heat when the loving starts.
“The kiss was half I want you so bad and half I’ve got something to prove along with a bonus I hate how much I want you. It was the best kiss Owen ever had.”
Throw in some angst, cameos from Marley and Austin (swoon), a grovel and smoking hot make up sex and you get a book that will be un-put-downable and one that you will want to read over and over again. I’m totally hooked on this series.
Be warned though, if you aren’t into MM romance and sex, then you may want to sit this one out. They go there often and it’s so damn hot. I applaud Brazen and Megan Erickson for taking the leap with this book big time. I love it so much. I’m off for a re-read, I can’t leave them yet.
