Description
Luna Begay is as studious and serious about her Indian heritage as her sister, Issy, is outgoing and fun. With Interesting characters and a fast moving plot, this book should appeal to both middle and high school girls. The subject matter is relevant and has many topics that could spark lively classroom discussions. I particularly liked that Luna decided to give the baby up for adoption.

I found this to be a touching story all too common in teen life today. The relationship the sisters have is truly special. I think it is a good read for teens because it is a cautionary tale that reminds you there are options and that it is important to stand up for yourself and the ones you love.
