Description
When Two young brothers -Archibald and Jockabeb- find an old leather map hidden in the forest just beyond their backyard, they can't help but sneak out of the house one night to follow its path. So begins the first of the boys' adventures- a journey that both amazes and frightens them. After a terrifying encounter with supernatural creatures, the boys meet a young Indian Brave, Haktu, who shares with them the tragic story of how he was separated from his tribe and placed under an evil spell. The saga leads the two brothers into Haktu's secret world and teaches them the power of friendship and loyalty in the face of untold evil.

Archibald and Jockabeb are young brothers on a big adventure that will take them through all kinds of fascinating things. The dragon I love, the wolf crows are spooky enough for anyone! Uno, I could hug and Haktu, is a strong amazing character. I really liked him a great deal. The parents and Tess are likable too. This book has action, adventure, mystery, friendship, fellowship, and just plain fun. I really enjoyed it, and the drawings area very, very good artwork.
