Emergency Delivery

I loved everything about this book. Hunter is a paramedic with a huge heart and a hero complex. He meets Madison when he and his partner/best friend Beau help her deliver her baby after she gets into a car accident and goes into labor. She leaves and impression and he goes to check on her the next day to find she has already been discharged. Missed opportunity, right? Well the universe has other plans for these two because she ends up in the hospital again and Beau catches wind of it and shares it with Hunter. Hunter of course goes to check up on her and their connection is remade. The story follows Hunter's attempt to return to medical school after some difficult times in his youth made him drop out. It follows Madison's attempt to overcome difficult financial and emotional trials during a time where she is starting new relationships, with her daughter and Hunter, as well as dealing with the baggage of old ones. The plot was interesting because it felt genuine. It isn't some unbelievable fantastical tale. This is a regular (but sexy as hell) guy falling in love with a girl that is down on her luck but pretty awesome in how she's dealing. Hunter is really amazing in how he sees the world. Yes, he always wants to be the hero and some day it might not work out for whoever he's rescuing... but to be frank, I'd rather someone shower me with hope than to drag me down with pessimism. Despite this "flaw" I really feel like he and Madison connected. Their love scenes are seriously hot proof. For my safety gang ... Hunter has eyes honed in exclusively on Madison and vice versa. Others aren't even a blip.

Not to be missed !

Hunter is a paramedic. He helped Madison deliver her daughter by the side of the road when she went into labor. For some reason he just can't forget about Madison and her daughter and when he hears that she has landed up in the hospital a month after the delivery due to exertion, he ends up offering his spare room to the mother and daughter duo. I loved reading this book. Madison is perfect for Hunter, she is strong and independent to his knight in shining armor complex :). The emotions, the romance and the chemistry between Hunter and Madison made it an awesome read. Can't wait for the next in this series. A definitely recommend read.
