Description
After terrorists killed his wife, scientists used nanotechnology to turn Neil into something that was not quite human. As a man he was unpleasant, dangerous and of little use. As wetwear, he is unpleasant, very dangerous and extremely useful. He kills without mercy, then erases the evidence by destroying his temporary body. The aftermath is someone else's problem. The scientists that created this weapon knew they had made a monster. They did not know that Neil was monstrous before they started. What do they tell their superiors when Neil's atrocities escalate? With every mission a success, will the bureaucrats even care? But Neil is worse than homicidal and psychopathic, he's untidy. When he leaves his severed head in Iran, he leaves a pathologist a puzzle to solve. If she succeeds, it will destroy England's only chance to survive in a terrorists' transformed world. The humanity of every member of this top secret team will be stretched to the limit when they are ordered to send this powerful psychotic assassin on a rescue mission.

Advance Praise
"Plenty of authors write about terrorism, nanotechnology, international murders, and protagonists bent on revenge. Few can pull off the finer balance between thriller and science fiction that Peter Bailey achieves. Add computer references and intriguing new technology applications and you have a multi-faceted story line that doesn't just grab: it immerses. Very highly recommended!" (D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review). "Gory modern sci-fi thriller with a military twist! ... a complete thrill-ride, interspersed with dramatic action sequences and conspiracy; …. The ending was exciting, spy-like, and memorable. It was a stunning debut novel and a commendable work. I would read more of this author’s work!" (Alex James, AlexJamesNovels) "A classic thriller ... I couldn't put it down... It's perfectly creepy and disturbing, qualities I love in a great thriller. … A definite heart-pounding thriller ... Totally inescapable!' (Amy Shannon. Bookshelf Reviews) "This thriller reads like a classic, opening with a heart-pounding scene. ... it works so perfectly and so powerfully ... Walk in the Flesh is wildly creative and spectacularly delivered." (ttherebelchristian blog) "a thriller sci-fi classic that stands head and shoulders above the rest of the books in this genre. ...it’s the added zest of grimly detailed horror that permeates the entire story which, in my opinion, does the trick of giving the novel its uniquely creepy quality. " (donsloanauthor.wordpress.com) "An action-filled complex story. .. the plot is original and thrilling, with a lot of intense moments." (junipergrove) "There is no shortage of action in this thriller, and I was caught up in it right away. ... If you enjoy military adventure novels, cyberpunk, or techno-thrillers, this one is worth a read." (booksthething.com)
