Charlie Everson is like most women that you know. She is no longer able to fit into her clothes, She is stuck in a job she has no passion for and the new CEO is her ex, or the one that got away. They agree to one night together...but does it end up as more than that?
I loved this book! It was a fun and easy read that I couldn't put down!
I definitely loved the love story and the political local context, but I think that the title is greatly misleading - I understand that the book is part of series dealing with 'The Joy of' but still it has different expectation. To be honest, I am happy it was so, as I really enjoyed the story and the whole romance - plus the happy ending...
Really enjoyed this book! I felt i connected with the main character as like her im a comfort eater and that's something i enjoy about this book, that shes a relate able character. And though it's a romance and they have a set kind of way they progress i really enjoyed Suanne Jefferies way of doing it in this book.
