Description
How far would you go to achieve happiness? What if it meant letting go of everything you'd once believed in?
Piper Allen is looking to spread her wings and unfortunately, her podunk hometown in Missouri is stunting her spiritual growth. Moving to Dallas to finish up college with her two friends, Stephanie and Nicole, she hopes to challenge herself to reach new heights. Her bohemian ways allow her to float through relationships frequently and with ease; when there are no strings attached, there is no chance of being hurt.
Texas rancher, Moye McKenzie, is a no nonsense, good ol' boy, who doesn't play games where matters of the heart are concerned. When this straight-shooter walks into Piper's life, sparks fly and tempers flare. Wanting to give her the life she deserves, Moye has to show her that getting hurt can happen whether you're holding onto the reins or not.
If she could just let go, Piper might be surprised to find she's someone's dream girl.

HOME IS WHERE THE WINE IS BOOK BLOG--Oh my goodness I loved these girls! Carrie’s writing is light, cheerful and fluffy. Yep I said fluffy. You just want to hug the damn book. Favorite Scene: When Piper gets caught spying on Moye. “Luke, I am your father” lol
Favorite Quote:He looked so deep in my eyes I was petrified he saw my soul. I didn’t want him to see it. I didn’t know why, but I felt embarrassed for him to see that deep into me. I tried to look away, but he willed me to keep his gaze. Something changed between us in that moment. My feet weren’t even on the ground, my arms were around his neck, and I had never felt so grounded in all of my life.
AMAZON CUSTOMER: Best book (series) I have read! Love the reality of it and the fact that it kept me engaged on reading. Great story! Love it!
AMAZON CUSTOMER: I read this book in 2 days. I could not put it down. I could relate to Piper on an emotional level. The book portrays the struggles of young adults in life and love. The whole series is excellent.
AMAZON CUSTOMER: I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down but tried to take my time because I wasn't ready for it to end! Well worth losing some sleep over!! I can't wait to ready the next 2 books!!
VALLEY GIRL GONE COUNTRY BOOK BLOG: Piper is a story that I believe many woman can relate to in one way or another, from her two close friends Nicole and Stephanie who have each other’s back no matter what (even if it’s illegal), to meeting that overly eager turned psycho man at the bar to questioning if love is really in the stars for you. Piper is a book that I recommend that you share with your daughter or younger sister who is about to venture off to college. This story is also for those who are afraid of love and thinking that you aren’t deserving of that “special guy”. Piper is a story of hope and truly believing in oneself.

Read it All in less than 24hrs. Great book. I needed to get out of my routine and dream a little and this book did the trick. Loved Moye, looks like the perfect human being yet still sounds "real" enough for the reader to hope finding a guy like him in real life. Piper is great too, she has the same concerns and fears as most of us and I really enjoyed the fact that it took her a while to be confident enough to allow herself to love. But I think the thing I preferred in this book was the friend group. Cole, Carey, Stephanie and Nicole are fun, loyal and supportive friends. I feel like I know them :-)
