This was an extremely well written book. It covers all aspects of Love, good,bad and indifferent. After awhile I did not see how Clair would survive, but she not only did but grew and thrived once she found her strength. This author also wrote a beautiful love story. I definitely recommend this book

I really enjoyed Returned Broken. It was a story that kept me on the edge of my seat at all times and I kept wanting to read it and find out what was going to happen. I was very invested in all the characters and the story in general - I loved Clair and her drive to fight and keep being positive, especially.
I hope that this becomes a series because I would definitely read it to find out what happens to David, Clair and the rest of their family!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Claire, a newlywed pediatrician is volunteering in Syria and is kidnapped. How does one return to a normal life after living a nightmare for many months? Claire's husband, David,also is struggling with the changes in his wife when she returns. The characters in this book are well-developed and the story was captivating. I was invested in the story from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend this book! I look forward to reading more from Judith Keller. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
