Prince Albert of Coronia is dying. His last wish was to find his long lost daughter so she can take the throne after he passes.

Broke and in debt after taking care of her sick parents, Holly Yates’ life is about to change drastically. When she hears of the search for a missing princess and the clues all point to her, she must find out the truth. Holly leaves Baltimore and heads for the small European country of Coronia with Felix De Luca, the man who would become prince if the princess is not found. Felix is thrilled to have found the princess. He is looking forward to Holly becoming the princess so he can return to New York where he can live a normal life out of the royal spotlight.

Holly discovers her love for Coronia and its people, while she tries to figure out her next step. Should be become princess or should she return to America and her old life? While Holly is making her decision, she has to deal with the evil reporter, Cassie Carmen, who is jealous of Holly and has her own plans to get ahead in life. She doesn’t care who she tramples on her way to the top. Holly and Felix also start to have feelings towards each other which will make Holly's decision on more difficult.

This magical story was a lot of fun to read. It was easy to visualize from the descriptions and dialogue. I could relate Holly's thoughts and emotions as I also found out about my biological father and met him when I was 25 too. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for good heartfelt holiday story.

LOVED this book! This is a delightful and sweet tale about a lost princess. After a long search, they believe that they have found the lost princes, but she is a mediocre young woman in Baltimore that is juggling three jobs and dire financial straits. Despite this, she isn't sure she wants to be a princess and all that it entails.

This is a wonderful novel that shows a young woman with deep character and convictions, but not much else. If is refreshing to read a novel like this and fans of the genre will love this book. This i the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I've added her to my must read authors' list.

The perfect Christmas fairy tale of a lost princess. Holly is at her wits end after loosing her parents and mounting bills when she finds out that she was adopted and now might be the lost princess of Coronia. Her birth father, the king has one last wish on his death bed to find his daughter before he dies. Felix, soon to be prince ( he does not want) goes to the states to find Holly. He will whisk her off to Coronia to meet her father. Everyone falls in love with Holly, and even Felix.

I so enjoyed this Christmas fairy tale. Great characters and very descriptive writing of the scenes. I high recommend this book. I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

A Royal Christmas Bride is clearly a modern fairy tale and so I was prepared to suspend my disbelief and enjoy it. I've read Scarlet Wilson's books before and found them warm and engaging and this was no different. Allowing for the setting, the characters were strong and believable and the challenges facing them were handled well. But even in my state of suspended disbelief I kept tripping over the fact that everyone in this fabulous Mediterranean country spoke perfect (American) English...

To have your world ripped out from underneath you is difficult. To have it happen when no one around is able to provide you details is another. But to overcome this challenge and face life head on is amazing.
Bills are piling high, late notices are on the step, and life has given Holly a difficult path to take. Her father had passed when her mother became ill. Taking any job she could to take care of her mother and now after her death she is faced with the medical bills that were left behind. Her trusty dog Rex is the only one that she can count on.
Then Holly finds herself face to face with Felix, an heir to the throne in Coronia. He holds a copy of a baby picture of her. According to Felix, her parents were not her biological parents and his country needs her to come home and take over because her biological father is dying.
Will she be able to deal with the emotions of finding out her world isn’t what she thought it was? Will the people of Coronia accept her? It’s another difficult road for Holly to travel but what does she have to lose? Everything…
I really enjoyed this book. The pace was even, there were twists that you didn’t see expected. The bond between Felix and Holly is gradual but blossoms into something truly beautiful. I loved characters, and I hated characters, and I found myself wanting to scream at the book. This book did a great job of taking the reader by the hands and pulling them into the story as if they were living the events. The details were breathtaking, descriptions of Coronia made you feel as if you were there. The characters were developed and the storyline made sense. Thank you for sharing this book with me.

Holly’s parents were now both dead and the hospital bills had taken all the money Holly had. This was the last Christmas in the house Holly had spent most of her life in. After this holiday season Holly would have to put the house on the market to sell she just couldn’t afford it even though she didn’t want to sell the house. Alfred was the crowned prince of Coronia and was very ill and Felix was looking for his heir as Felix was a distant relative and next in line if he couldn’t find Alfred’s daughter. Felix would do his duty if he had to but his life and work was in NYC. It turns out Holly is that lost heir. Holly agreed to go to Cornia with Felix if her identity wasn’t revealed as she didn’t feel she could lead a country especially one she had never heard of. She didn’t want any pressure on her she was stressed enough. As her whole world had changed and she had just learned she had been adopted at twenty five years old and neither adopted parent to talk to
This was an excellent Cinderella type of story and I really enjoyed it. You knew what was basically going to happen but loved the procession to the HEA for Holly. I loved how the people stood by Holly and all was explained and how the story ended. I also loved how Holly interacted with the people of her new country especially the common man. I loved the plot, the characters, and the ins and outs of this story. I highly recommend.

The reality that Holly Yates knew as her life changes drastically when a picture of her as a baby breaks on to the media. Suddenly the parents she knew and loved as her own are strangers and they are no longer alive so that she can ask them the questions that burn within her heart. According to Felix de Luca, her father is Crown Prince Alfred of Coronia and she is his only child and heir.

At first, she wants nothing to do with this but Felix who would be next in line for the throne if she refused, convinces her to spend some time in Coronia and then decide. There begins a journey to discover the truth of her roots and learning about her country and her royal family. Her only condition is that she remain unknown so she can make a decision without being pressured. What she discovers that the sense of belonging that she has always felt missing in her life, is right here in Coronia and with the man who brought her there by her side, she can accomplish more than she has ever dreamed of.

A Royal Christmas Princess by Scarlet Wilson is a fun Cinderella type story. While Holly Yates is a grown woman, she definitely needs a fairy godmother. So, I was looking for the Julie Andrews grandmother to show up in the book. However, someone much better does in Felix, the almost prince. I appreciated that he is a good guy when so many times, it is tempting to make his role in the fairy tales as the villain.

Fun, easy to read, and the fantasy in a picture-perfect setting, we would all like to have when there are tough days, and heart ache in our lives. For a short time, Scarlet Wilson transports us to where dreams come true and happily ever afters really exists. I enjoyed my trip there with Holly and Felix.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.

This is another delightful festive read, with a young woman, struggling after nursing her dying mother, discovering that not only was she actually adopted but her real father is royalty and searching for her! She agrees to travel to meet him but is reluctant to have her identity made public before she has had the opportunity to meet her ailing father and discover more about the country he rules. With an opinionated, ambitious member of the press travelling with her, a Chancellor who obviously seeks to undermine her self confidence by overwhelming her with meetings and factual data, her ally through it all is the next in line for the throne, Felix. The problem there is she really likes Felix but is unsure who she should trust and what she should do. Discovering she's really a princess isn't anything like in fairy tales! To discover what happen you'll just have to read the story for yourself!

The angst and turmoil experienced by this young woman is emotionally portrayed, making it easy to relate to her as new possibilities unfold before her. It is a well paced story, with great characters and plenty of dilemmas. Another thoroughly enjoyable festive read to escape into, whatever the season!

I was gifted an ARC of this novel via NetGalley with no obligation or requirement to review it. This is my honest review after reading the ARC.

A Royal Christmas Princess is a delightful Cinderella story that had me reaching for the tissues. Scarlet Wilson has developed two gorgeous people in Holly and Felix and thrown in a couple of nasty "stepsisters" in Cassie Carmen and the Chancellor. It was fun watching Holly slowly unfurl as a princess, revealing her caring and compassionate self along the way. This story flows beautifully and for those who love sweet Christmas romance it makes perfect reading.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This book is every girls dream in that she dreams she is a lost princess and is finally found and gets her moment to be the star role in the fantasy, except in Holly Yates' case it happens to be true.

Holly lost her father many years ago and only recently her mother died and the cost of the medical bills has left her with mounting debts and three jobs.

Her world is shaken upside down however when a photo of her in childhood is aired with the news that this is the lost princess of Coronia.

Felix has never wanted to be the Prince, but if he cannot find the lost Princess he has said he will take the job when his friend and mentor Prince Albert dies.

Neither Felix or Holly expect the attraction to each other and Holly gives Felix a whole new way of seeing the place that he grew up in with a realisation that he does not want to leave.

We have our villains who try and stop both Holly or Felix from getting the crown, but as i all happy endings things turn out for the best.

A brilliantly written holiday royal romance.

I LOVED this book. it is the rags to riches, instant fairy-tale story-line. However for the young woman involved it is a myriad of emotions. Will she stick it out for the people or will interfering hands and her lack of confidence force her to run? Will the man who could take the throne fight with or against her? Quick but great read.

This was a cute book. It read like a Hallmark movie. No swearing, no sex or messing around. It was a fairy tale, young woman in the middle of heart break and harder decisions has found out that her life has been a lie. She is actually adopted and in reality she is a princess of a small European country. She finds a friend in Felix the would be reluctant prince, and friendship turns to love. There is the evil reporter and royal official who would love to see the stupid American fail. This is a modern day fairy tale.

This time of year, I just crave quick, delightful reads that put me in a holiday mood and require almost no emotional investment from me. This one fit the bill COMPLETELY. A fluffy, frothy delight, involving a lost princess, a cute dog, a doting statesman, and an evil uncle - if you're also in the mood for a few hours of escapism, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Thanks, Ms. Wilson, you made a long flight pass quickly!

There are moments in life that can seem more fairy tale than anything else, witch included. Holly is about to discover the highs and lows of a Cinderella type personal experience. Her parents had recently died, leaving medical bills that were overwhelming. In the new year she’d have to seriously consider selling the only home she’d known. There simply was no other choice. Imagine Holly’s surprise when she saw a news report looking for a missing princess from a small country she’d never heard of… and that baby’s picture looked exactly like one she’d seen often – her. Holly discovers some harsh truths as she searches her home for that baby picture, along with other documentations that convince her to contact the people doing the search. Now she has questions, and she wants answers.

Felix was a distant relative of the ruler of Coronia. Although he was next in line for the crown, he’d never imagined that he’d actually be taking up that responsibility – and the truth was he certainly didn’t want it. So his search for the true heir to the crown was done freely and with hopes of finding the rightful princess and them moving on with his life in New York, far from Coronia. He is both delighted to find Holly and a bit surprised by her request to keep her identity a secret for the moment. She has a huge decision to make and she will not be pressured into ruling a country that she does not know or understand it’s people or customs. She’s asking for time, and Felix to introduce her to Coronia.

A Royal Christmas Princess is a delightful modern day fairy tale that will capture the Christmas spirit and most likely your heart as well. Going along on the journey with Holly, discovering her natural roots, standing up to those who oppose her, and coming to love the people of her country is a heart warming experience. The unexpected fall into love for both Felix and Holly was as natural as snow on the mountains. They are a believable couple in an extraordinary situation. I believe you’ll enjoy this one as much as I did. It’s hard not to fall a bit in love with someone who loves a library full of books just as much as she does. Indulge yourself this season and enjoy a Christmas fairy tale that you’ll want to revisit next year.

Quick, cute, easy royal read. I loved how it started off different! It wasn't runaway prince meets girl who doesn't know him... it was a nice change! From there on though it was pretty basic. Good but not great.

Heartwarming story of a downtown girl, riddled with debt from choosing to look after her mother during her terminal illness, putting this before a full time job, only to find a picture of herself as a baby on TV - Coronia was searching for it's missing princess.

Holly was utterly confused by the whole situation and upon finding a hidden box realised she was actually adopted so went off to face Felix in search of answers.

Being totally overwhelmed Holly agreed to visit Coronia with Felix and meet the reigning king, her father. She made no promises of staying, but quickly thrust herself into the health and care of the country, falling in love with it and its countrymen, who in turn were falling for her.

Then comes the evil witch Cassie aka investigative reporter who had been helping with the search for a princess, and palace chancellor who didn't like the fact that Holly had been found - although it had never been officially announced. Their snooping created a story that they spun in a negative way trying to turn the country against Holly. This of course backfired when Felix reported the actual events, and declared his love for Holly on national TV when he went in search for her after the debarcle which left Holly with no option but to run.

All was well in the end when Felix turned up at the airport and declared his love for Holly wether she took the role as princess or not.

Sweet romance.

“A Royal Christmas Princess” by Scarlet Wilson was exactly what you would hope to read when you heard the title. Hard-working, kind, animal loving and poor, Holly Yates had no idea she was a princess. Raised by two parents in Baltimore who had both passed away by the start of the book, her finances were looking grim. Naturally, the book portrays here as the only girl in all of Baltimore who didn’t care that there was a search for a lost princess- until her baby picture pops up on the news. It’s a bit cliché, but unlike so many of this cookie cutter type of character, Holly is genuinely endearing.

I was repeatedly turned off by the way this book portrayed Cassie Carmen. “The woman practically had ambition tattooed on her forehead.” I’m not sure there was a need to put down her drive- her personality? Sure! But, just because a woman is ambitious, you shouldn’t think of her a shrill, catty or whatever else you are trying to convey by starting out describing her that way. It was a real turnoff. The chancellor was a more classic villain, and I did enjoy when he and Cassie Carmen schemed together. The threat of their scheming never loomed large because the plot was so pleasantly fluffy.

I did like Felix’s perspective, especially when it took Holly to get him to realize the things about his castle and country that he took for granted. Wilson did a nice job of really portraying Holly as someone who could thoughtfully negotiate for her people.

A few lines in this book were dramatic to the point of cringe-worthy, but none more than when Holly says she likes books and Felix marvels. Like, she didn’t go to college- but she’s not illiterate dude. This book leans HEAVILY on the she is so beautiful and doesn’t know! She is so brilliant and doesn’t know! No other girls in the whole world are like her! Shopping with other women is dull but somehow she makes it special! Her specialness must be constantly convey in a way to put down other women he has known! And I am super tired of that trope. A woman can be amazing, but why must you put down other women to make her that way? It feels lazy to me.

I realize this review sounds a bit negative as I did overall enjoy the book. Coronia is a magically built up land, it feels very real but with an edge of fantasy. Holly’s father, King Alfred, is a genuinely touching and fully realized character. I loved her scenes with him and his relationship with Felix. Holly and Alfred’s relationship is one of the realest in the book, and definitely conveys the magic of Christmas. Holly’s maid Anna is a delight, and I don’t want to give away the end- but if you enjoyed Love Actually, you will really enjoy the end.

This was like Princess Diaries, but with an adult as the lead. I loved it.

Holly find a out she's the missing princess of Coronia and her father, the ruler, is dying. Will she accept her role and responsibility or will she go back to the US?

The scenes with Holly getting to know the people and country were wonderful! And Felix was dreamy, going with her around the city and helping her to fall in love with the place, and him.

This was a sweet way to spend my day :)

A delightful long-lost princess romance.
It was well written and pleasant but did not really impress me. I am not planning to read more of Scarlett Wilson's books (just because of personal preference on the writing style), but I was fairly pleased with this one. FYI, there is no sex in this one, just kissing.
The principality country in this novella sounds like Monico, which is the proper choice for a story like this. The story setup was fairly reasonable, so I quickly accepted the idea. Holly and Felix, the pair of main characters, were very likeable and warm-hearted to people around them. Felix and Holly were from different backgrounds, but they had a lot and in common as well. It is always nice when a good lady goes from rags to riches and gets a new wardrobe. It was really nice how respectful Felix was to all women. I like Holly's adorable dog, too. The descriptions of Christmas decorations in the kingdom were very nice, and they got me into the Christmas spirit.
There are a couple of enemies who were against Holly's presence in the country and opposed her taking up the princess position. These two antagonists are too one-dimensional and stereotypical, and I wish that they were more interesting and well rounded.
There is a little bit of angst in this story but it is light. The old prince, Holly's biological father, does have a terminal illness, but he has a good outlook on life. Holly also has financial trouble, and her adoptive mother died recently.
I recommend this to fans of Hallmark Christmas movies.
