An amazing book combining cultural fun facts and DIY ideas to get into the Christmas spirit. It was great to get to know more about customs from countries all over the world, not just the Western part of our globe. Lots of mouthwatering recipes to choose from and tons of crafts to get inspired by. Highly recommended!
This is a book packed with ideas for Christmas crafts from around the world. The festive items are easy to make.
We've been crafting for Christmas with my kids for 12 years, the least I can say is that I'm out of ideas. This book however is filled with 24 new ideas to me at least and we even get to learn about other countries Christmas traditions. The step by step is clear and easy to follow and the drawings are just too cute.
Thank you Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group for my ARC copy.
I really loved this, it has such a huge selection of crafts to do with kids. Because there is 24 you could easily make it into an advent event. I can't wait to try some of these out with my nieces and nephews.
This was a cute collection of holiday crafts from around the world. I enjoyed the short background on each of the traditions and the mix of religious and non-religious topics. The illustrations were cute and consistent throughout the book, though for some of the projects true photos may have made the project easier to understand.
I would recommend this book for my libraries and anyone who has small children who enjoy crafting or making things.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley.
I really enjoyed looking through this book. I would recommend this book to child patrons who are interested in learning about different Christmas traditions around the world. The book contained a nice mix of craft and baking instructions.

A World Full Of Christmas Crafts is a fantastic craft book for children, and a brilliant gift to give for the beginning of December.
This is a lovely christmassy book - perfect for families looking to embrace the festive spirit! It is a virtual journey around the world exploring each country's festive tradition with a paper craft, recipe, or other fabulous creation to encourage children to learn, create and enjoy the festive season in a multicultural fashion!
A helpful and clear ‘you will need’ section accompanies each activity with templates for all the crafts featured at the end of the book.
I love how this book encourages children to think about a Christmas beyond presents and their own immediate lifestyle. The book is also beautifully illustrated and a pleasure to behold for adults as well as kids.
The recipe and tradition around the Syrian pancakes looks superb (and sounds delicious - I will definitely be trying this one!) There are so many other great crafts - plenty of crafts and easy to source materials make it a cheap and easy way to make memories! Highly recommended!
My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance review copy.
I love Christmas and I am looking forward to using these for my own decorations and showing these crafts to friends and family alike.
Beautiful book! I've been searching for a book with Christmas activities for ages, this one is perfect!
Each page features a Christmas activity/tradition from a different country. You'll get a brief history of the tradition in that country plus an instructions for completing the accompanying craft. The instructions are well thought out and easy to follow, the book also includes lists of needed materials for each project.
And what really makes this Christmas book a five star book are the illustrations! They're absolutely gorgeous, I definitely wasn't expecting that in a book for crafts, but it was a pleasant surprise.
What a fantastic way to bring Christmas around the world right into your home! I absolutely would recommend this book.
Thank you to NetGalley for the copy of this book!

I really loved this book and it is a great book to have for the Christmas period and to bring out each year.
It is a great book for children and my daughter was really interested to find out more about how the counties in the book celebrate. This could be from special foods being made and eaten to different crafts being made for the tree or windows.
There are 24 different crafts in the book so plenty to do. We loved the illustrations too - they worked brilliantly with the book too and help you learn more about the different traditions around the world, there are easy to follow step by step guides too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!

Note: As this is a craft/cook book, the review design will be different
than my other reviews.
Geared to middle-graders, this craft/cook book has easy step-by-step instructions that anyone can follow. Each craft or recipe is taken from a different part of the world, and they have some information on the Christmas’ custums and on the craft. And the pictures in the book are very pretty.
There are some crafts where it talks about ‘ushering in the new year with luck’, and a few other things that are a bit odd, but still cool to learn about.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the temporary loan of this book!
