I found this difficult to get started and challenging to read. I was unable to finish the book and this caused the delay in my review. I was trying to finish the book and was never able.

Good storyline and nice mystery, but just didn't feel like a Holmes story. Language and actions of Holmes and Watson just did not ring true.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. I collect Sherlock Holmes books and have been a fan since a child. This one is definitely going in my collection

I am finding this a bit hard-going and not enjoying it as much as I expected.If i manage to finish I will review more fully on Good reads /Amazon
