MARCH BUZZ BOOKS MONTHLY BY PUBLISHERS LUNCH
March Buzz Books Monthly is a great resource all in one catalog. It features excerpts from several of the books being published in March. It has an Extra Attention Section, Literary Favorites And Emerging Talents, Debut Fiction, Commercial Fiction, NonFiction and a Week By Week with March 1, March 6, March 13, March 20, March 27 as the highlight day for it's publication this month.
I enjoyed having all of the book news for March in one handy booklet. The excerpts that are featured in March Book's are The Women In The Castle, by Jessica Shattuck, The Illusionist's Apprentice, by Kristy Cambron, Future Threat, by Elizabeth Briggs, Piper Perish by Kayla Cagan, Geekerella, by Ashley Poston and a bonus excerpt called A Simple Favor by Darcey Bell.
I like the condensed version of the monthly installments.
Thank you to Net Galley and Publishers Lunch for my digital copy in exchange for a fair and honest review..
Always enjoy looking at new books and being able to request for them early.
I write monthly previews for new releases because I can't always get my hands on certain books, so this is super helpful in cutting down my time in bookshops perusing the first few chapters of many new publications! I look forward to seeing more of these in the future!
This is actually fantastic. I wish I had discovered these earlier. This is not only perfect for book reviewers, but also for book lovers. It's great publicity for authors who deserve it, with perfect size excerpts, and all the information you'd ever need about the book. Absolutely brilliant. The only thing is that I wish for more books to be featured.
This monthly publication has been my go to for the past few months to figure out what new books I have to read. (Even if many of the excepts are sometimes posted individually or in other collections on Net Galley).
I had already read the excerpt of "Piper Perish" but was charmed by the premise of "Geekerella"
Love the excerpts and the publishing preview. Excited for the releases of You Are Here by Jenny Lawson and Elizabeth Briggs Future Threat
These books give me a great resource for titles that I might not have on my radar through the review guides that I use. Really enjoy them.
Naturally a smaller selection than the Spring/Summer BuzzBooks, but still includes an interesting array. Always worth checking out any BuzzBooks list to see what's upcoming!
March Buzz Books Monthly is now availabIe and worth a look. I was glad to see an excerpt from THE WOMEN IN THE CASTLE by Jessica Shattuck; about three women dealing with aftermath of an assassination plot on Hitler. Other forthcoming titles which I am certainly looking forward to include Mohsin Hamid’s EXIT WEST - wish it was on Netgalley for US readers – plus new mysteries by C.J. Box and Jacqueline Winspear. In terms of non-fiction, I plan to look for WE ARE AFGHAN WOMEN and also Adam Alter’s IRRESISTIBLE which is about the rise of addictive technology and will be high interest for our teachers and students. In addition, I have already been recommending Meg Howrey’s THE WANDERERS. When I have a bit more time, I hope to read THE TWELVE LIVES OF SAMUEL HAWLEY and THE BARROWFIELDS, two novels that deal with parent/child relationships and coming of age themes. In the meantime, I will be delving into Lisa See’s THE TEA GIRL OF HUMMINGBIRD LANE. Once again, so many books and so little time ....
Not a book for reviewing but a catalogue commentary. I am unsure why feedback is required but will keep going till I get to fifty words.
It's just a promo/slight preview book.....good info and books to look forward to in the near future.
I enjoy reading all of these excerpts, as always! It makes me decide whether I want to buy these novels or not, and makes me even more excited to read some of them. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants an insight into new releases. Catch all of these reads in March!
This is the first time I've ever used a Buzz Book to get access to early excerpts. What a great way to see what books are coming out soon!
I love seeing what's upcoming with links to galleys. Thanks so much.
A great resource if you want to check what is coming out soon, and glad that the round-up section covers literary as well as commercial titles.
Lovely teaser of some exciting books to come, cannot wait! Picked a few already that I would love to read.
A good selection of excerpts and notable mentions, personally, I felt more range of genres was needed.
In contrast to the half-yearly buzz books, I won't be reviewing the Monthly buzz books on my blog. It is a nice reminder of the books that are being published in March, and I will be using the list.
The excerpts were nice, however, I had expected that they would be starting to differ from the books featured in the big Buzz Books, because now, except for list of books I'm currently failing to see what it is adding.
I will check out the next ones though, to see how it evolves.
